Got my Revo X two weeks ago and I am very happy with it. Top quality and craftsmanship.
I can recommend.
They have a all in one system where the hammock is integrated in the sleeping bag. The h bag II allows spreader bars to be used and resembles somewhat a bridge hammock.

Not sure what...
Vertex os the go.
I use it. Dutch hook on one end of the ridge line, and the figure of nine to tighten the line on the other end. Prusiks on the ridge line to be able to move the tarp.
Sorry no pics in the moment.
Funny that!

Could someone put up a couple more pictures of the flex?
Would be great!
Well there is a little bit more material used here than the typical 3 yards...
too cool though..
how would you prepare some food?(cooking)
Sorry missed that.
Thanks
I use tap talk on my iPhone and noticed there is no buy / sell section.
Did anybody else have the same issue?
Nx all the way! the extra room is nice and the poles are great give you a nice feeling inside, even if you don't use a tarp..
Different for me. I love them pockets. Here in Australia we have lots of let's call them "unfriendly" insects and other creatures around. I don't like to leave anything on the ground at all and love...
Depends on what you want to use it for. I made a small one for snacks,waterbottle....and hang it from the ridgeline under my tarp.
Together with the bullants, jumping ants and huntsmen spiders another good reason for a hammock.
Been out as well last weekend and the ground dwellers had issues with all of them- love my hammock....
I see it that way that I knew about the weight beforehand, but I don't really mind. I wanted the features of the NX 250, the pockets, the weather shield and am more than happy to have them. For me...
[QUOTE=DemostiX;663341]Sewn-in silnylon stuff sack:
It is attached on a 1" / 25mm stub of fabric. It can be cut out, so it is stands alone or gets left home and still easily sewn back in with no...
Same here UL stuff sack (8l ). Tarp in extra UL stuff sack. Keeps both dry, but also protects every thing else from getting wet (after rain when I pack the wet tarp away).
I often thought about cutting the attached stuff sack off too. I always use a waterproof UL stuff sack and pack my Tarp extra as well so I find the attached stuff sack heaps to big and usless weight....
Lol- I like it!
Pad should work fine by the looks of it.

$140
Yeah looks tipy?
I am aware of the weight, but that's not really an issue for him because we either walk 15 min to the creek to camp or in a kayak. I am not convinced yet, but that's the one he wants because it looks...
I never hear or read anything about the lawson hammocks.
Who owns one, what are the expiriences?
I am thinking about getting one for my son.
I seem to like the complete enclosed systems like my NX...
In summer I use a Therm a rest tech blanket modified into a top quilt, in winter a proper down TQ.
Got it!
Thanks!
Year just wanted to come back and say still not available but you are already aware of it! Thanks for the effort you put in.
Could you let us now when it is available I'll buy one for sure.
Thanks...
Dejoha
wanted to purchase, but can't because it is not available in Australian store, and Apple will not allow me to purchase it in the US store( I can look at it, but not buy it).
Any chance to...
That might be a good idea
I thought about that, but thought it would become hard to find that Oz PIF inbetween..
Anyway I love the spirit of the PIF, and the hammock forum in gerenral. I don't want devision of the forum...
I am aware of that, but
A not everyone is happy to send overseas ( my experience ) and more importantly
B the shipping costs can quickly be higher than the value of small items which makes it not...
It started to rain before I could try, but the owners manual states not to use the spreader bars.
Well sort of,you'd need to stabilize the poles then to prevent them from falling over. But yes, two attachment points of any sort would do (bushes?),
Don't know, maybe the mods know. Guess 100+?
Today I set the NX 250 up on the ground. I wanted to see how it works, if it is practical, and if I still need to carry a tent as backup on costal kayak trips where I can't always be 100% sure to...
Everyday I see the cool things in the PIF thread and would like to participate, but I live in Australia the shipping costs would be too high.
Somehow I feel left out.
Can we maybe open a Australian...
Well that is basically what I'm thinking, they fall away to the bottom and don't hold their position snug to the body. By using stretch cord loops and a toggle I might be able to lift them and get...
No need to cut holes
Each 'channel'(running left/right) is separated along the centerline by a sewn in wall to form two pockets. This wall is not connected on either side, just on the top and...
I am in ( if Australians are allowed in)
Has anyone tried to connect the zliner pads on the bottom? I see there are small gaps left and right on the bottom (inside the pocket/ where the 2 pads meet) and thought I could use some press studs...
Ray I think you can do it!
I am not a stroke survivor but a paramedic of 13 years and truly believe you can do it. Some things like hanging the tree straps up might be more difficult for you, but...
Same setup I use. You will see it is awesome.
Just got the zliner too. I will probably use the footend all year round and the pocket insulation only when it gets cold.
Enjoy you'll love it!
That is what I used untill now. My very first try on the thread injector.
I actually like it because it holds my 6 stakes as well.
For now I will use the Clark solution if I pack it in the...
A couple of month ago I was in contact with Clark about a storage solution for the poles and they replied that a solution would be soon available.
When I ordered the zliner last week I asked for...
To make it clear- the fabric is 100% mosquito proof. I have been bitten through the stiches on the bottom seam. Only on 2 places along the seam, doesn't happen anywhere else.
I did tell Clark and...
It's a nice tarp and worth the money.
Just be careful where you stepping at night and be careful collecting wood.
Otherwise respect them and leave them alone. In Australia you get used to them. Got brown snakes in the backyard (second...
Shame it is regular, would take a long/wide..
I had now twice the problem to get bitten by Mosquitos through the bottom of my Nx 250.although the material is fully mosquito proof they seem to get me through the stitching holes where the pockets...
Ask the dealer, comes with every seat...
No idea about the weight, lacking the kitchen scales..not heavy though..
width: 19cm on top, 11cm on the bottom, 16cm high and about 6cm deep.
I played around with a ridgeline attached to the 2 loops inside all night last night. I came to the conclusion that a ridgeline with something like a organizer hanging from it applies to much stress...
