Redden Marine (www.reddenmarine.com) has a free shipping code good July 1-7, 2015: 1776
Zing-It is $21.60 for 180 ft: http://www.reddenmarine.com/samson-rope-zing-it.html
Lash-It is $21.60 for...
You can look for a West Marine, but Dutch is probably cheaper even including shipping.
How nice of you. I'm in.
I'm in! Thanks for doing the giveaway!
Just stumbled across this ebook free on Amazon - The Sewing Machine Quick Guide
Not sure if it is normally free, or if this is a sale price.
Soak it in permethrin and then spray it ... it makes it a bug zapper without the zap!
Warbonnet Superfly - you can't go wrong!
West Marine will also ship free to a local store. For 17 cents a foot, it is only $17 for 100 feet.
I bought 300 feet the last time it was on sale.
Fine angle of dangle. Might need another dog.
Sounds like quite a trade!
You mean a Susan Bates Steel Weaving Needle. Perfect for splicing Zing-It.
I'll take it!
My two sets arrived yesterday - before the email from Massdrop telling me they had shipped!
If your first tarp is a Superfly, you might never have a second tarp - it is that good!
Had mine down to the upper 20s and stayed cozy.
I take Gas-X to help me handle wind.
Oh...the other wind.
Superfly received - in great shape and fast, just in time for my son's birthday!
Mods can close the thread.
My Wal-Mart has them near hardware with the weather stations..
Try Sierra Trading Post (www.sierratradingpost.com). The code ES040715A will get you an extra 35% off and free shipping on orders over $100 through 4/9/15. They carry Danner...
Redden still has Lash-It, which is the same as Zing-It except it is gray.
Dutch doesn't want to feather his nest.
I use a Susan Bates Steel 5 inch Weaving Needle to splice Zing-It. It is long enough to easily do buries, has a dull tip so it doesn't split the strands, and is large enough to handle. You can find...
14.99 is the lowest price.
I picked up the Dutch Clips the last time they were on Massdrop. Get in quick - there are only 50 available.
I'll take it - both Superfly and tarp flyz.
Buy Lash-it from Redden Marine by the end of the month and get free shipping with the code STPATTY. You will be happier!
I make my continuous loops with a locked Brummel, and then do the bury. It makes a bigger bump, but there is no way it pulls out since pulling on the loop just tightens the lock.
Redden Marine has free shipping from March 15, 2015-March 31, 2015 with the code STPATTY. They have great prices on Zing-It and Lash-It ($21.60 for 180', $72 for 600'), and 7/64 Amsteel is 22 cents a...
You can start with inexpensive base layers from Wal-Mart - or look at some of the online clearance places like Sierra Trading Post.
How do you hang your tarp with straps? Do you use cinch buckles?
I use a weaver's needle for splicing Zing-it. It is just the right size and is blunt so it doesn't pierce through while splicing.
Today's Dilbert sponsored by Dutch?
Dinner? Slab of lab? German Shepherds pie?
Have you tried Sierra Trading Post? They have Alite chairs (http://www.sierratradingpost.com/s~alite/)- currently the Monarch for $50 and the Mantis for $85. They seem to get the Mayfly in every so...
I did the same thing. Then I bought a Jarbidge on the For Sale forum. Should have skipped the PLUQ and just bought the Jarbidge to begin with.
I bought 300 feet for $51 the last time it was on sale. Free shipping if over $49, too.
I think it is non-spliceable by mere ground or sea dwellers. Everyone here has no problem splicing it. :)
I think he is coming out with the Ti D-cup - 128 ounces and only 3.4 grams.
Welcome from Richmond, VA! :D
Who is bringing the first aid kit? The big one with the tourniquets? :)
I'll have to be a definite maybe but probably not... I'm occupied with Boy Scouts and don't think I can get away.
Then those trees don't have leaves - they have clouds of mosquitoes obscuring the sky...
An 11 foot hammock fits fine with lots of room under the Noah 12.
Pure unobtanium is the secret ingredient.
Silkworms! I got to name Dutch bling!
Arrowhead Equipment is your best bet - the Jarbidge is perfect for most Scouts. My scouts both have one.
Welcome from Richmond!
I'll defer to Bobwhite1075. I'll take seconds if he doesn't want it.
