It really depends on your ridgeline length. I use an 11 foot hammock. It ran 108 inches. So 2 inches bigger than the tarp. If you have an adjustable ridgeline, it could potentially work for you.

Definitely true! Good job for sure. I'm making a 12 footer with doors, I kind of wish it was just an asym ;) so much sewing
tyvek all day. as a former tarp tent and ground dweller, i swear by the stuff. it works really well for any sort of ground mat.
sweet tarp! not a huge fan of diamonds due to windy rainy days, but for minimalistic sake, it is pretty sweet. ill have to grab some xenon and make something cool with it.
bump. there has to be someone out there that would love this tarp!
Hey guys,
Looking to pick up a few yards of silk online. I want 100% silk, preferably 60 inches wide for a sleeping bag liner. Has anyone bought any online? if so where? I wish Dutch or RBTR sold it...
The tarp comes with no lines.
Original Post from DIMJIM:
Arrowhead Equipment Shangri-la sil-nylon tarp. I purchased this tarp here on this forum a couple years ago. The HF member I purchased it from wanted a smaller/lighter...
Busy week! I really like those dariens. Hopefully my lady
gets me one for Christmas.
Hey guys,
I got a CRL from Dutch. I really like the design and it works well for a sunny day with no wind. But any sort of wind pulls the soft shackles right out of place. I was wondering if you...
I just checked that out. That is really moderately priced, and looks really easy to do. The instructions make me feel like i can sew!
Awesome thanks for your help!
RSBTR? Sorry lol. Do you have a good DIY link that you would follow?
Hex. I tried playing with it today. It just doesn't have enough coverage for a HH
Hey everyone,
I have a 106 inch tarp that I really like. The problem is that my hennessy hammock is 108 inches long, this presents a problem.
Im considering buying a new tarp, but building a new...
nice video! I was playing around with my tarp today and was trying to figure out a good way to put it away. Thanks!
I have a HG UQ and a flight jacket. Both work really well. If you set it up right, you can slide out the bottom entry/exit no problem. I think people stress to much about whether a certain quilt will...
I'll take it. Shangri-la. #1
Pics/link?
I do quite a bit of backpacking, I use an explorer deluxe. I love it. I'm 6'2 270. Definitely wide enough, especially if you stake it out or use a sleeping pad inside it. Go explorer imo.
Bottom. You can always use a sleeping bag. I used a sleeping pad from Wally world for a long time, it worked. But getting an underquilt made me ten times more comfortable. I use my 20 degree...
I like the idea. It'd be cool to have a designated section for it.
Dutchware always works well for me. I know they have shock cord available.
I'll take it!!!!!!!!
Would you consider selling just the clickstand. I already have a trangia
Those are sweet. I will consider investing! Good heads up and great idea. Best of luck!
I would just let it fly off the side. Lol. Heads up below!!!!!
Coffee. The only thing that gets me out of a hammock is cowboy coffee lol.

Hey Guys,
I recently upgraded my suspension to the cinch buckle system for my Hennessy Hammock. With that I also needed a new ridgeline, which I forgot to purchase with my cinch buckle system....

Lol about to place another order here for a ridge line and tarp tie-outs. Lol. The addiction has begun.
Time isn't very important to me when it comes to backpacking. I have never adjusted my straps post original set up. Which takes about 10 minutes total for me to do. but to each their own. keep hiking...
I just wanted to give a shout out to Dutch. I ordered new suspension 4 days ago, and got the package today. Order was exactly to my needs, it was easy to order and I feel that the quality of the...
i always find the skins of them. i barely ever see them while they are alive. you can hear them though!
as a user of a hennessy hammock for over 2 years now, my experience has taught me to buy the right equipment.
The Potomac will work great, if you need something to get by for a while. Use a pad....
That is one wild hammock. looks comfortable, although none of my suspension or underquilts would work for it.
Woot Woot! Mission success. from now on, it is fine tuning till you become a pro.
Wow! What a beautiful trip! That lake looked so clean, it reminded me of maroon lake in Aspen Colorado. Glad you shared it with us!
that would scare the piss out of me. I hate spiders, especially huge ones. I'm glad I dont have to deal with tarantulas in Michigan

Interested in purchasing 20° top quilt and underquilt. I am 6'2" so they must be at least 78 inches or so.
Also interested in purchasing any lightly used or new Titanium cookware including a...
