You're going to butcher it to make a tarp aren't you? Not that I care though, but it is a cool looking tent. Slightly jealous of the buyer.

In trying to keep the cost of entry down. The wife and I plan on getting UQs next year, right after we do our taxes :) I know it will probably be nicer than a torso sized pad though, so I can't wait!
Looks like the race is on to see who gets theirs first. In this race however everyone wins with nice cozy warmth :)

The next thing I know the cat will be sleeping in it and I will have to order a new one. Does anyone make cat hammocks? I am hoping to convert a few friends to it, but only time will tell. :)

I don't believe so since this one was ordered several weeks ago, when Stormcrow was on the AT. I ordered mine early this morning so it should be the wider model. :)

My WBBB 1.7 DL arrived in the mail today. I was so excited to try it out that I set it up on the deck with the webbing wrapped around the railings. This was more of a pseudo "deck hang," since I was...
The wife's 3S Burrow arrived and I got some lovely pics of it. The wife was feeling a bit shy so I gladly volunteered :) I also weighed it yesterday and it is just under 22 oz. This particular one...
WOW, perfect timing for me. I was going to do more testing but not until next weekend to see how the wife's 3S Burrow fits in my hammock. I was originally worried about length, being 5' 11" or 6' (on...
Congrats on the new gear, but you know what they say... Pics or it didn't happen.
The wife just got hers yesterday, but I ended up using it more than her

Just posting to give you more information on this topic.
I have a GSI Minimalist cookset myself, and I have a Brunton Raptor Stove (not for sale) that fits in it along with the smaller sized 4 oz....
Hopefully your insurance company doesn't see this video... They might decide to raise rates :scared:
Great video by the way!
You are a few steps farther ahead of me at this point. When I get my hammock and insulation, I plan on doing "car camping" for a few nights before doing anything more serious. This would be a good...
I think a nice 20' x 20' tarp would be sufficient for a 10' hang. It might be kind of hard to get into the bug net though. It would be fairly difficult to have breakfast from the hammock though, but...
Not coordinated enough for either. The closest I came to riding a unicycle was when I popped a wheelie on my motorcycle and that was unintentional.
Hey all! I am Robert, I live in Minnesotah and am fairly new to hammock camping. Thanks to this website and Shug I am a well-educated newb.
We don't have much for equipment yet, but that is going...
Mr. Murphy does have a sense of humor. Got my tracking number yesterday for my wife's WBBB 1.0, and with 2 - 3 days shipping I might be being setup for an April Fool's joke...
