Pads work ok. I just get too sweaty with them. Plus they can be pain to pack. You'll find most people are happier with UQ's. YMMV :)
Maybe a light summer UQ? The comfort level is alot better without a pad in there. For me anyways!
If you can swing it, go with an underquilt. Before I had one I just used a Wally World blue pad.
Quite a few guys here use the OES Micro with no problems. And it's a smaller tarp than the Eno. It's not like your only gonna have one tarp forever anyways! :lol:
