Thanks for the update. I'll keep an extra eye on the trail.
Was water flowing? Any chance of it drying up??
Sure sounds great. I hope you can make it. If you want any more info, just...
Thanks for the concerns about water scarcity. I'll be sure to call before hand, in case I need to bring extra.
From what I understand, at the Stone Door trail, there isn't any water. There is...
I already called. They were a little dismissive. I'll call again just to be sure.
Me - "Hello, I plan to go camping Nov. 16 - 19 @ Fiery Gizzard Trail. Do I need a permit & can you fax it to me?"...
Thanks for the suggestion. I'll check Virgin Falls out. I think it is $20 to camp at Fall Creek Falls. I'll probably just drive to Fiery Gizzard and stay at the CCC campsite on Nov. 16, then...
Thanks
Let me know how it goes
So first off, these are just tentative plans, but I'm planning on hiking Fiery Gizzard and Collins Gulf trails in the South Cumberland State Park, Tennessee on November 16-22, 2014.
Just an FYI,...

So I am making a tarp for a friend, and as you know I had to seal the seam...
First off, all my gear is DIY.
I agree with everything 'perdidochas' has said.
I am happy with a gathered-end hammock, which is an easy/cheap DIY with tableclothfactory.com fabric.
That...
Sharpies are mostly alcohol based. That is why surgeons use them to mark the skin before incisions.
However, I don't know if the ink will degrade the tarp or not. I do know that sharpie ink...
IMO.... As long as the tarp hangs down sufficiently enough from bottom of the hammock/UQ, then you shouldn't need a 'drip edge'?
Am I right??
Looks awesome.
I am assuming that is sil-nylon and no-seeum???
I like the idea. b/c you don't have to bring any tent stakes; you are fully enclosed; deploy when needed; bugnet/tarp all-in-one...

Hello Everyone,
I want to be as transparent as possible. I have 97 (if I counted correctly) poncho liners. I made a list of the people that posted in this thread. I will fulfill the orders...
Sorry, I stand corrected. The order in which you post is the order in which I will fulfill the request.
I will find out how much shipping is when I get off work.
OK I'm gonna go ahead and stop taking orders. I'm gonna buy all of them tomorrow. I will let you know in order of PM's if I am able to fulfill the orders.
Wow. I bought 30 already. I'm just gonna go ahead and but all of them. I will get back with ya'll as soon as I can
