Still recovering from that trip!
I now know why the Danes are often voted World happiest people. It was proven to me there.
Yessir....I'm ready for a sausage anytime.
So glad I said Yes to this trip. It felt odd to awaken in Copenhagen on Monday and not be in my hængekøje in the forest. And I missed all those around me. But romping around Copenhagen for the day...
It was a brilliant time. So glad I said yes to going.
I did live most of my young life overseas and going back was a blast.
But show biz folks that retire just love being home.
I do plan to...
It must have some positive effect. Good on ye'......

You still need to hang it correctly but the lack of leg shelf and getting that in perfect placement should make a gap free experience much easier.

I think it simplifies the set-up overall.
Still feeling the great joy from this Hang.
Did a podcast Saturday (should be out soon) with Paul and AJ from Hang Con USA and we just talked about the wonderful time we all had over in Denmark....
I was looking at an Incubator at the Euro Hang Con and noticed it did not have the leg shelf design. Maybe an early one out already. My Norwegian friend had it.

It was the Danish Yates!!!!
Like minded folks always seem to bond. Amazing that not many folks were on their cell phones but in the moment.
It was a hammock-love-fest truly.
Greeting KiltedWolf,
It will take some patience to get to where you want to be in this hammock journey. Don't rush it. Take it bit by bit and relish in doing and experiencing something new.
To be...
Yes Alex and I spoke on his walk in. He was by himself and really just getting started up again. Some good ideas. He gifted me with a suspension so I am excited to give it a look-see. Liked the...

Hoping not to intrude on your post here. I am the son of a United States NAVY chief. 21 years in. Loved every moment of it. I asked my Dad once..."Hey Dad, what to Chiefs do?" he took a beat them...

An amazing well attended big time mind blowing life altering time over here. The International hammock scene is growing and all were so welcoming to all of us Americans. We really not all that...
I’m at the first Euro Hang Con in Denmark. Lots of Havens. I met Derek the designer. He has a brand new pad that does not fold and is much improved. It is an easy rig to go to ground in if needed....
Fabrics very. May take a bit of time to find your groove. In the meantime I can offer some calf ridge remedies.
Enjoy the hammock quest.

Just keep tweaking it all with the Tensa. It can take a few tries but when you get it write down all your Tensa measurements. Ridgeline and footing width. Try hanging foot end with closer and a bit...
Enjoy your hammock quest. Be patient with all the bits and bobs. Good nod to ya'.....

I prefer a zipped burnet full. Then I can zip back in the morn and have coffee from the hammock.

You can wash it in the bathtub. Or take all the suspension off and wash is gentle in the washer. Dry it air dry or hang it. It is just fabric.
Enjoy your hammock quest.

I plan to go to Told & Snaps to dine on some. Have a hotel in town for my first night in town. Will explore a bit. And find a good Bakery to visit. Just wander about and take it in before Hang Con.
Best to you on the search. Change happens. You sure had a lot of good hangs at Yates.

It is getting good coverage over the footed of the Amok that is essential. the ENO Housefly is 8'10" wide and 10'8" long. Might just do the trick.
8' minimum and 16' max hang distance. Could be the ticket.

Sector Seven in Jyderup will be Secure and eating Smørrebrød with knife and fork.
I don't have a Discount Code to share. Just showing the hammock~~
What a fun hammock this is. The UL version is so much lighter now. Though in my comments there are still many who think it too heavy for the Ultra Ultralighter camper. So be it. Chair/Recline mode...
Looking forward to breakfast from the hammock eating Smørrebrød~~~
With a knife and fork of course.

Here is how one guy patched his tear on You Tube. fixed their torn silnylon tarps....https://youtu.be/HFVAbi4sqH0?si=bRRjEVC2n4YphEYY
You could sew then seam seal or rig a patch. Gives the tarp...
Same here Fimbul. Very excited to see some of your country.
I've never slept in my hammock outside of the USA. Hope I get to try Smørrebrød~~~

[QUOTE=Semiuseless;2097983]You can hang with a single tree AND a strong enough pole and ground anchor. I like a stout down tree as a ground anchor...but YMMV. [QUOTE]
The No Ground Hiking Pole...
I'm going to be attending this Danish Hang. Looking forward to seeing and hanging in Denmark~~

Reminds me a little bit of the Linville Gorge here in North Carolina.

They generally take a bit less of an angle....25 degrees or so.
From Warbonnet site:
Ridgerunner Setup
Ridgerunner setup is similar to the above setup in that you want the foot end of the hammock...
