Hope you convince the group to head up to Hot Springs. It would be good to see you and Pepper again.
PM LD Cakes. She'll know.
Freehome, I, and a few others, are on Site 463. There might be enough trees there, but I know there would be room for a turtledog stand. If for some reason Spamburgler's site doesn't workout, come on...
Next year you need to go out and kick them now and again to stress them.:D
I'm interested! I'm bringing some cream cheese and crackers. I love hot stuff on cream cheese.
Sure wish somebody would make a turtledog stand for a prize.
Made me laugh out loud.:lol::lol: Yes, if he asks nicely.
Mr. Grannypat (aka Sherpa) is coming for Saturday night, but will be in a cabin.
You've got cf1383 in there twice
I'll bring some cream cheese and crackers--they would be a good way to sample this jelly.
Bumping the spreadsheet
I'll bring a dozen eggs for a breakfast so long as I don't have to cook them.
What if I'm not participating in the crazy shirt day but everybody thinks I am?:lol:
Runningfeather, I can't edit the spreedsheet.
I ordered some items specifically for the raffle and mentioned to the vendors that I was purchasing them for the Hot Springs, NC hang. Both vendors tossed in something extra with my order.
I noticed that too. Last year the site I was on had lots of trees, but only a couple were useable because of poison ivy and poison oak. Maybe that's what they are referring to. Or maybe not.:D
Thanks for the pictures, Loki. That makes it so much easier to see how many will fit on a site.
Maybe infamous?:D
I asked Woodsy to check out a couple of sites when he was up at Hot Springs. This is his reply: "I only got a look at these campsites from the road since they were occupied and I didn't want to barge...
Sorry you won't be able to make it. The Mango Habanero Jelly sounds wonderful! I'll bring the cream cheese and crackers if you send a jar.
You got it. The site costs $60 a night, so your share will depend on how many others we get to share the site. If it is just you and me, it would be $30 a night.
I've booked a group site, #463, which should hang six if anybody wants to share costs and space. I'm bringing oatmeal, white chocolate and cranberry bars and probably something else for a Saturday...
This would be a good one for Georgia Girl. No hiking! Bathrooms and showers.
It is in Hot Springs, NC, a little town north of Asheville, NC. The Appalachian Trail passes through the town and there is a spa across the road from the campground....
I'm looking to forward to this. I may even rent the same spot I had last year, which I swear was halfway to Asheville.
