I haven't seen it mentioned here, but I found a site called campingdog.com which doesn't load well in firefox but loaded fine in chrome. it appears to be links to products on amazon, but it looks...
Jager it's fighting sleep. He's out like a light as soon as you start petting him, but wakes up when you try to do anything else.
You're converting people to hammocks?!?! That's horrible. Are you just attaching the suspension to their necks and ankles?
And here it is...

I really should have shot more video.
And Photoshop...lots of Photoshop.
Home again...ready to go back to the lake...err, I mean, glad to see the wife and kids again. Yeah, that's what I meant.
Yay change of plans. Waiting at pl8 for my chariot to the lake.
I'll be heading out within the hour. Are we good on tables and canopies?
We use chainsaws, not hatchets. There was even a movie about it.
Sarge's pepper lonely heartburn plan. That would be the title of the video.
What? I'll have to tell my superiors that they have missed an opportunity to muck up the wilderness with another tower.
I'll be arriving late Friday morning/early afternoon. Really wishing I had taken tomorrow off as well.
BUT.... Most of you know my camping motto!
If you ain't puking, you ain't camping.
Or is it "chumming for raccoons"?
The only thing missing was the announcer voice...in a world, where good sense is thrown out the window and good people bake their butts...
Wow, that was fun to watch.
Oh, I thought we only made shirts for the odd year hangs...3, 5, 7...
Wait a minute, I was sure I read somewhere that our gear would be hauled over and set up for us, with little mints in our hammocks, just waiting on us to arrive. We must remain civilized. Even if...
I'm going to bring the most heavy duty trash bags I can find...would really like to avoid the spillage from last year. That 2 day old stuff was waaaaaay passed ripe.
I was able to find a weather report for that weekend.

Wow, nice. My weekend definitely paled in comparison. I know safe driving requires mirror checks, but at the beginning of the video it looked like you were running from something.
I remember a trick from the show "good eats" where to take warm food, he wrapped some dry bricks in foil and heated them in the oven to make a cooler into a hot box for the drive. A towel around the...
Sarge, please don't say it's not as flammable...Caveman does like a challenge.
3. The ghetto is usually reserved for scoundrels, heathens, and rejects. (not sure how cookie coon thinks he's moved up to the lakeside site, but I see Zort knows exactly where he stands!)
I...
I'm a little concerned that we've forgotten to discuss something very important...there's plenty of talk about heat safety, so that's not it. Water...nope, transportation...nah. that's right! ...
Woohoo, just checked the vacation calendar at work and a spot opened up for the 31st. Looks like I'll be there.
When I made a gathered end for my (then 8yo) daughter, I went ahead and made it the full 11ft. Plenty of room for a flat lay and she grew like a weed shortly afterwards, so no worries about...
Ok, this is officially on my radar. We finally have enough people in my crew that I'll have weekends off again staring in May. So keep me in mind as a definite maybe. I will be perfectly happy in...
Not "missing", just appropriated by the quality control board.
Those are camping carbs...they only count while you're in the woods.
Is it just me, or is anyone else getting the mental image of Sarge's hammock tied between 2 bundles of helium balloons? Maybe with a little scout uniform on the dog...
Alan, I know what you mean. My first group hang was the butt bake, and hearing my mother tell my wife "you're letting him go too the woods with strangers he met on the internet". All I could do was...
Yes, like the Lorax, Sarge has been known to "speak for the trees", but we just chalk that up to his crazy misspent youth.
Don't get your depends in a bunch, we're "above" your lawn.
Big Dawg, let her know ground dwellers are welcome. It's a great way to see the different set ups, and there's no better bunch of folks to let her try some different gear to see if she'll like it.
It's kind of funny, normally as hangers we're avoiding dead trees. Now we're looking for someone to supply us with dead trees.
I haven't seen it mentioned on this year's thread, but that was an excellent name tag station e had last year. Any chance it's making a return trip this year?
I think I remember Kermit the frog introducing them on the Muppet show when I was a kid.
Now that I think about it...that sounds like a band. I can see it now, Shug and the Electric Underquilts.
That outlet is for the electric uq
I will need to trial an idea for smoking ahead of time and reheating in a Dutch oven...but it's for you guys, so I'm willing to undertake a tasty experiment or two before November.
Got home from the butt bake to my wife telling me she's already put us on the spreadsheet and made a reservation...so we're in. The Taj-ma-tent will be making its appearance again, so we'll be...
Woohoo, I'll be on the road in 30 min.
And the fun never stops...my work truck broke down. Cant wait for this shift to be over.
I have work till 6:45, then I'll be headed that way.
Thank you Sparky, the image of vegetarian bears running around the forest is going to get me thru the work day.
Wow...if I see any ticks, I'm using Gospidey as a shield. He's immune to these guys.
Yeah, everyone asks if my beard makes me hot. I'm like, no, the triple digit heat index makes me hot. The beard just makes me look good.
I'll bring my fire pit again for Friday night. That made it real easy to clean up and not have to worry about embers.
The good news is you can Google map search for "four notch hunter's camp" and it will take you right to it. It also works on the Waze app.
