I don't have a problem with the snap lock buttons working. I sometimes have to take my finger or a small stick to push on them to unlock,,but they do the job for me as I use the fiberglass 4'...

my 2 stands are lashed,,and have not ever given me any problems whatsoever..easy peasie! :)
I wonder how many have now made this portable hammock stand..I have 2 for me and the wife to use when necessary and we love them.
Oh wow,,nice idea on the bicycle tire inner tube as was using alittle duc tape, and also great tip on raising and lowering the ridgepole.
