I have three kids and was worried when they ALL wanted hammocks about a year ago. They are 11, 11 and 14.

I probably should add that I weigh about 140lbs... At 225lbs you may have a different experience.

I have been using these for almost a year now... no problems with my expedition... makes setup very quick! As far as weight, they are "rated" for 150lbs each.
