Welcome to the club.
I remember a while back there was a poll done on this subject, and to the best I can remember it was like 27% said they did feet left. Maybe someone that is good a finding old information like that...
No, I'm across the river at the other place.
Welcome aboard, I've stayed at the landing several times for an over night'er. I like having that comfort station close by.
Got my eye on this.
Sasquach spit, now that's a good one.
I like that look, it shows that you are one that does get out there. I’m proud of all the battle scares my equipment carry.
With your injector skills that thing will be great.
Had a rip in my UQ and used some stunt kite repair tape. Got it at http://www.dynakite.com/store/cart.php?m=product_detail&p=895 I figured if that stuff will stay on my kites ripping thru the air a...
All outings provide memories but some memories are better than others, and if it wasn’t for the trips that didn’t go to good we wouldn’t appreciate the great ones as much. I’m sure we can all relate...
I have made a change to my setup, thanks for watching G rat. The loops are now both the same size. The head to foot off set is done with long and short loopies on the hammock's. So if you don't like...
Welcome from way down south.
That is one fine looking tarp. Good Job!
Very nice, I like that. My buddy scar face has been working on an idea like that, I'll have to show him this. And as he is a bow hunter I know he has the hardware.
Thanks for all the input everyone, ya'll have probably answered all the questions I would have had when I get one.
WOW! that is long, does it require a custom tarp to cover it all or do you leave some of the suspension past the edges of the tarp? If so how do you handle rain running down the lines?
What is the distance between the buckles when setup. Iím doing a little research to see if it will work with the single line suspension setup I have now or will I need to make another one for it.
I'm 5' 11" 160lb with Adams bug net mod with the strap reinforcement if you make a line with loops on each end you can use it under the net and swap it around for net less setup.
Just ordered me another one, thanks for the info.
That was a great idea! And a very good job of it also.
Did that to mine, best mod for a SB. Welcome aboard Chum.
Just saw the weather report predicting a flood watch for Saturday so being on the creek may be a bad idea. Sorry for late cancellation but I was hoping the weather man was going to...
I knew you lived up that direction somewhere. I was hoping you might stop by for at least a handshake and a little gear talk.
Good job on the trim, looks very professional. Welcome to the addiction of DIY.
I was wondering if you realized how far that was for you for just one night. We'll catch up together another time, when we have more time.
No big thing, like I said before that's a heck of a drive for just a over-night'er. All that counts is that we get out there and do it regardless of where it's at!
Man it’s good to be back home. Come on 27th I need some hanging in the woods rejuvenating.
I'll be out of touch for the next 8 days so don't be looking for any quick reply's if someone ask me something.
bog, I hope that maybe turns into a I’ll see you there. And if so, don’t forget the ukie. jukhntn, yes it’s only a one day for me, but that would be a heck of a drive for only one night (I hate...
Date is correct, this is for December. I just wanted to get it out there in plenty of time so folks could think about it.
There are now more gulf coast hangers (would that be anything south of Hattiesburg???) than when I started a couple of years ago. So I thought it would be nice if we (and anyone else that wants to...
Keep in mind that this is thanksgiving week but, I ordered 2 pounds and a few extra ounces of down Monday night and had it in my hand Friday morning. That is service A+ plus.
I have not seen anything lately about Dave aka lost biker. Does anyone know how he is doing?
Same here for me.
Welcome from the gulf coast.
After reading all the other post there’s nothing I can add, only confirm what a great hang out that was. Got to meet some members face to face, swap ideas, try out equipment they had, and sample...
Glad to see you got logged in there bud.
Welcome from next door.
Sorry to see that you won't make. I'll catch you somewhere else some other time. By the way I got that hammy last night that I won at the LA hang. The one from Butt In a Sling fell thru so they got...
Me and one fresh noob from work for his first group hang.
Do we have a close count on the number that's coming?
Yea I know, but weather I get my hammy or not, I hope these guys can work out their issues. A friendship is a terrible thing to loose. Because in the end it’s your friends that count not stuff.
Wait a minute Sloth you got yours, I’m in no hurry. I only have five others to choose from, but it would be nice to have one of those also.
Add two more to the list.
Stephen, I saw how you were looking at that hammy at the hang, just go ahead and admit that you want that for yourself.
Another great get together goes down in the history books. The getting back together with friends you made from past hangs, missing the ones that didnít get to make it back and getting to meet and...
Truck is packed, GPS is loaded, all I have to do is wake up and go.
TOMORROW IS THE DAY!! TOMORROW IS THE DAY!! I'm pretty sure I won't need the alarm clock to get me up because TOMORROW IS THE DAY!!
Welcome aboard Dave, beware the DIY bug, it can cause a loss of floor space in you home. Good luck on your projects.
Even if all four cars, both motorcycles and my bicycle all break down at once, I’ll still be there! I wonder what a 350 mile taxi ride would cost?
