Sounds like a blast! Are we just signing up at the state park sight or will there be a sign up spreadsheet?
Thanks,
Steve

Bienvenidos from San Antonio, TX! I'm wishing I could get out in some snow too, but that cold white stuff does not exist in these parts.
Looks like a wonderful time...now to get my wife on the trail and to sleep in a hammock. :-)
Thanks for the great video and trip report.
Welcome! I'm sure you will find this forum is a wealth of information as you enter into the world of hammock camping. Please post some pictures of those beautiful forests in Denmark!
Welcome! We look forward to hearing how your trip goes.
A warm welcome from San Antonio, TX! I'm originally from the NC coast and I miss the beach!
I really like my Hammock Gear Incubator 20° (http://www.hammockgear.com/incubator-20/). I've been comfortable into the low 20s with it. The quality is superb.
Welcome aboard!
I'm in as well. Thanks so much for the generosity. Camo or dark colors would great and I will cover shipping if selected. Thanks again!
Welcome! You will enjoy the Blackbird...I certainly love mine. Please give us a trip report, especially of the NZ trek. I hope I get to do that one of these days.
Instructions in this video were perfect. I made my set with no issues in about an hour. I had some practice with continuous loops which helped a lot. THANKS so much for taking the time to make...
Had a great time making a couple of these 12'' loops. My wife and daughters watched me make the 2nd. They were duly impressed (or they we pretending and putting up with their strange dad). Thanks...
Put my order in on the SS...20 orange. Thanks so much gunner76 for putting this together.
Does anyone know, is it possible to over compress down gear, such as quilts, and damage the down (lessen the insulation value)? I packed up my under and top quilt in a single stuff sack recently and...
I used my UGQ Flight Jacket 20° top quilt last weekend for the first time. While it did not get too cold I found the fabric it to be really comfortable and the quilt to be incredibly warm. Not to...
Thanks Ol Grumpy. Given my old wood shop teacher's comments (something like "Son please find a different hobby!") it turned out better than I had dared hope. :-)
Thanks hppyfngy. Your's was inspiring but I was afraid to tackle the angled cuts...I have a skill saw but not much skill. :-)
I have seen in several folk's pictures the use of a screw through the top rail and end cap used to secure the cap in place. I was thinking of using JB Weld instead. Any thoughts on that idea? ...
Finally put my TurtleDog stand together...love it. I lengthened the top rail to about 13' allowing the use of my Superfly. I also made my 2x2's 78''. Thanks for all the posts and to Turtlelady and...
Thanks for the replies...I love how helpful everyone is on the forum. It's great to learn from other's experience.
Thanks,
Steve
Any issues stuffing your tarp in a stuff sack with the snake skins on? Seems like it might be harder to pack up but I have no experience trying.
The kind folks at HG were so great to work with. I'm sure you're all tired of this story but I had a deadline for a camping trip. The got me my Incubator 20 degree in plenty of time and it was...
Thanks for setting this up...great to be able to check status.
Steve
Just ordered my FJ 20º 850...so excited to go for a hang in the cold. OK, so in south TX it doesn't get TOO cold, but will be ready for the few below freezing nights! :-)
Disregard...sorry. I should have read further in the forums before asking. I found the answers in https://www.hammockforums.net/forum/showthread.php?t=78947.
Thanks,
Steve
On sealing your Superfly...what product do you use and is it just in certain sections of the tarp?
Thanks,
Steve
Hi Matthew200oTX...good to meet a fellow south TX camper.
Thanks Lost Biker. I'm certain your cold weather gear must be excellent to hammock camp in Indiana!
Hi and thanks UncleMJM. I probably can't make the campout in November but it sounds like a blast. Maybe next year. Thanks for the invite.
I am fairly new to camping with a hammock but I already know I don't ever want to sleep on the hard ground again. Upon recommendation from a buddy I bought a WBBB with the Superfly tarp. I...
