A while ago I acquired 16 of those used military 4 foot aluminum poles that slide together, with a bag. I had planned to use them for a hammock stand, but my arms are getting weaker and weaker....

I got it as my wallpaper :) Great Picture! Hope nobody minds :)

Another thought I had was.... why is that tent there in a hangin' camp??

Ok, i am only 6'4" and 230 or so, but I was wondering... how high do you folks have your tarp over these hammocks? Seems like for me, I would like to be able to walk up to my hammock, get in and get...

Great Pics Datahiker, but I still don't get it. Why not put your pole sitting on top of the tripod? Has anyone tried this? Seems like you could still hang from the end caps. Just rotate 60 degrees...
