Same experience here. Loving my deluxe.
Still looking.
I agree! I'll try to take my mind off it by making guylines!
Ordered a deluxe on the 10th, got shipping confirmation on the 11th. AWESOME!!!!:D
Wow, the edge was sold out from under me. still looking. thanx
I'm always looking for ways to "trim the fat" in hammock camping. Sounds like fun!:D
Dang sexy piece of cuben. I'd jump if I wasn't looking for a new tarp. Good luck.
The only hex on sale is the camo tarp. It weights like 19oz, the same as my 11x10. I'm looking to drop some ounces from my summer kit. Thanks for the reply.
I'm looking for a gently used 11x8 hex tarp in sil or spin. A JRB product would be great but not necessary. Thanks in advance.
I wonder how the shortening of the foot end spreader bars has weathered over time? I'm intrigued to find out if anyone still does this and if you can go with a smaller tarp?
I'm in need of a pair of Flyz and am willing to trade a pair of stingerz. My stingerz currently have 10ft of lash it on them, but I can take it off them if preferred. I have used them once in my...
Good for you Keith. I'm at 3 weeks for BUCKLES.
East side, Eaglecap wilderness Two Pan Trailhead to Miniam lake about 6 miles. Good sites @ lake a bit of a walk for kids. Decently easy to find trailhead.
Westside, Drift Creek wilderness Harris...
Remember we're NOT talking hammocks or tarps we've ordered accessories. Carabiners, buckles, and stakes. Everything I ordered was supposedly in stock. I can see waiting on a tailored hammock but a...
The Gorge, really??
I ordered some cinch buckles a little over 2 weeks ago. Shot him a email and got a reply a few days later. He said they'd go out in "a couple days". That was early this week. So I guess your looking...
Item has been found. Please close thread.
I bought a HH in 2004. Got turned off by the fickleness of the stock setup. Didn't return to a hammock until I tried a BMBH, then RAN out and bought one. I love my BMBH. I have to say hands down my...
Installation is super easy. I would go with two oz over stuff for the winter. You won't regret it if your trying to keep your wife happy.
Really need a Gossamer Kumo Large, I know they're out there!! Pay top price for your like new or gently used pack.
I really like that under hammock gear storage... Got me thinking! Thanx!
I got an email about my cinch buckles, supposed to go out in a couple days. Looks like a 2 week wait on accessories.
Payment sent, thanx
If I didn't have a Gossamer Gorilla on the way, I'd jump. Don't let the tear scare you away ULA's are tough and it's an easy fix.
Looks like a nice winter setup. I hope someone bites.
I'll take the lanterns. Pm inbound.
Hi I'm looking for a new or gently used Gossamer Gear Kumo in large. I'm also looking for a GG hip belt in medium.(current production please.) Thanks!
I'm a fan of the unmentioned Carrick Bend, we use it constantly on the crab boat. Very easy to add length and it's very easy to break (UNTIE). I'm liking this thread!
Can you expect delays like I've read in this thread on accessories as well? I ordered cinch buckles last week and haven't seen any shipping info yet.
I'm going to find some of these. Great info, thanks for sharing.
Try strapworks.com. There cheap and sell every material under the sun, reasonably priced.
My JRB quilts have actually smelled good from the factory. Kinda surprised because my down sleeping bag smelled like a wet duck when I first bought it.
Last time I looked which was this week, Jacks R Better had aluminum dutchclips in stock. Hope this helps.
BTW Aluminum is sooooo 20th century.. ;)
This might be abit off topic but has anyone keep their UQ attached to the hammock and slide the whole thing into a bishop sack? PRO's and Con's?
Love It. Everything from cooking cozies to putting a second layer on a closed cell foam pad.
I'd go 10 to 12 ft. My BMBH UL came with straps just over 6ft. Pretty much useless this side of the Rockies. I am happy with the tri-glides so give them a try.
Just remember with the stingerz you need enough line to come back to the biner. With the flyz you can adjust the hardware back or forward on the line as needed.
ONLY HURTS IF YOU LIVE!!!! Nice video. Thanx.
9-10 ft for 4 season. It's nice having alittle extra when you might need to guy out to a root or sapling.
I'll take the Vicky tinker with a lanyard please.
I'll take a chance on the bush buddy.
Just slippages and stupid's here. Never a material fail.
I'm in. Getting Dutch toys in the mail?
If it hasn't been crushed, I will take the elite.
LOL! Or leave receipts from JRB laying around!
Any pics or links for the UQ cover?
2nds please.
How much length do you leave for your "hook" side?
I'm glad it's not just my wife... I try to explain the lure of Dutchware but she just rolls her eyes.
I like the jrb sniveler. It has good width for tucking and with over stuff I've been in the 20's with no problems. Plus you get to deal with the nicest guys in the cottage industry THE JACKS!
