Yep - something for my pack so the lighter weight is appealing to me. I have several large Home Depot tarps for car camping so it's not really for that.
No problem - I keep going back and forth between getting this and getting the Diamond tarp from mosquitohammock.com. The Diamond tarp is $45 (includes shipping)and is 1.2 pounds and 13' x 10' and...

Thanks Lori - I had seen that thread before but had assumed those weights were for the 9x9 - do you know if they apply to the 12x12 as well?
I, too, would like to know the weight - anyone have the info?
Thanks in advance!

Added myself to the map
I'll take 1 tarp - home address
I'm in for one - a good tarp is the last thing I need to really start hammocking!
Looks very cool! Does it have extra tie-outs in the middle? If it did, you could use it as a 12x10 or a 9x10 just by folding a 1/3 of it up and using one of the middle tie-outs.
Something like...
I got one as well.
Thanks! He's just about 4 months old and is doing his best to see how little sleep I can function with.

I had looked at (and really liked) the Campmor down bag you guys mentioned. Unfortunately, my budget really won't allow for that right now. With a new baby and the resultant loss of my wife's...
New to hammock camping - hoping to get a started hammock for Christmas before I venture into the DIY area.
I'm looking for a cheap but decent sleeping bag for backpacking/camping. I'm on an...
