Hi laghang, welcome from Norwalk! There are lots of great products out there. The main thing is to get hanging!!! Your wallet will be lighter after outfitting two for sure! Enjoy, secondchance
Hi, I bought one about a month ago to keep my quilts drier in the wet weather we were experiencing here in CT. It worked well for that but also cut the wind that my tarp let through and seemed to...

A warm and wet December 23 overnight! Stayed dry and comfortable with a Dutch Winter Sock sealing out the weather!
Ha! I know the feeling. Looking forward to some springtime hammocking!
Right you are about the geographic size!
I'm a regular in the Kent area on the AT to find hanging spots. We usually do some family tenting in Macedonia since they won't let you hang your hammock,...
Hi Kenbo, that's just off the AT on the CT/NY state line. I'm actually on an island in the Ten Mile River which was easy because of incredibly low water!
Are you a local hanger?

Valuable information, thanks for doing the grunt work. I swapped out to Dutch clips and cinch buckles for ease of setup and adjustment, it's nice to know I didn't add that much weight in the process!
I haven't but sounds like an interesting technique. Curious myself now!
Looks like a great time was had by all! Thanks for sharing.

What a great question, one I wished I had asked! I have an Explorer UL and based on it being a Hennessy specific product, I went for the HHSS. It mates well with the hammock but is a bit of work to...
+1 on UQ investment! Now, what temp rating???
Received my HH Explorer UL as a Christmas gift and immediately took it outside and hung it up ( I live in CT). Tried using ccf pad, then a Big Agnes insulated pad then both together! Bought the HH...
