Count me in!
Ha-ha sadly yes I am aware. But that does mean I won't need a top quilt or possibly under quilt. I feel bad for my friends in the tents, at least I'll have a cool breeze in the hammock
going on a short backpacking trip to maryland's green ridge state forest. Going with a few friends. I know hardly any trips in Maryland are posted, so I figured I'd post one. If you are interested in...
this thread makes me feel better. I thought I had a problem at 3 hammocks.
I am interested in how to get my quadcopter authorized for national parks as well!
I love that America is so diverse. You have mountains, beaches, forests. You have people of all nationalities. You have so much opportunity! It's great!
a continuous ridgeline with 2 prussics allow you to center your tarp much easier than a guy line off each end of the superfly. But if you use 2 guy lines, it is lighter weight since you need 11 feet...
I use 34 feet of zing it for a continuous ridge line for the tarp. I attach 2 prussics on it along with one dutch fly. Then for the each of the 4 corners, I clove hitch 6-7 feet of zing it to a piece...
I find that I need to use the triangle thingys for my Jarbridge UQ but not for my HG phoenix.
What torso size and hip belt size?
There is still a delay on the cuben fiber
Count me in!!! Woohoo

octothorpesarus- HA! I got a good chuckle out of that.
So I found a down vest for $10 on craigslist. I'm thinking about using velcro to temporarily close off the arm close and attach the bottom of...
Interested in a go lite jam. I have a 32 inch waist.
I think there isn't enough room to do that in one smooth motion. Too much over lap. What I do is step over one of the door shock cords, then move to the side and step over the other shock cord. I...
Ill take it, the whisperlite
I was wondering if anyone has tried to attach a down jacket or down vest to partial underquilt to convert it into a full length/longer underquilt with success.
I was just there for the first time from last Friday to Sunday. It is a little buggy, but it wasn't swarming with mosquito . I would bring a bug net. It was buggy during the day, but not bad at...
If you are worried about fabric wear, I suppose you could do a continuous ridge line over the tarp using prussics at the ends of the tarp, that way the trekking pole doesn't rest on the tarp, but on...
My blackbird has silver whoopies
Here is the way I attach the doors 108405
So I threw on a prussic with shock cord to each of the pullouts and attached it to my trekking poles and its working great. No need to carry any extra weight or poles since I already hike with...
I would be interested. I just sent you a PM Foresight
I use a pair of orange harbor freight straps rated for 400 lbs. Works fine. I cut the hook off with bolt cutters that I borrowed from harbor freight and just feed the strap through where the hook was.
I'll take it. Well a buddy of mine will
I attach 3 feet of shock cord with a spring cord lock to each of the 4 corners of the superfly. I tie a loop on the end of each of the shock cord lines. Then I snap on one of the ID badge clips on...
Oh my god. I am so sorry I am being so flaky. My girlfriend just bought me one without me knowing. I'll have to pass on this again. :(
Screw it, I'll take it! Hahahaha
Looking at multifuel backpacking stoves for winter.
Wait never mind, I thought this was the lighter wisperlite. Still a great deal!!!
I'll take it!
I'll take it. The steripen
108 inches is 9 feet, which I think is a little tight for a hammock, it it were slightly bigger, I would be all over this
Any thoughts on that rain fly?
I love the freedom of a hammock. I dont have to worry about sleeping over rocky, muddy, or sloped terrain. The hammock to me allows me to get a well rested night that I really enjoy.
Im in on this!
Ok sweet , ill take it the jarbridge. Ill send it tomorrow.
What condition is the jarbridge?
Holy cow, that was fast
Not bad. This should go quick!
Id go with double layer. I have a 1.1 dl bb and a 1.7 dl bb. Great for keeping the pad in place, provides a safety net if you have a sharp object to accidentally cut one layer, and allows you to...
