i just upgraded my tarp ridge line after two yeards with para cord to zing it and its much lighter and faster but i do miss tying the knots! :)

thanks boston my quilt is underway ive decided to go with a curved baffle design as well as different dart lengths at the head and foot ends, not sure how much the curved bafffles are going to effect...

yeah i was thinking flat felled seams too but the bungee cord is a great idea im trying a miniature first but they never give a true idea of how it will work. ahh the fun of experimenting!
mmm interesting idea. Im gonna have a play around with it i thing the biggest issue is gonna be re-enforcing the end of the slit so that it doest continue as a tear

I was in the same dilemma as you mbnow. This was my solution to your problem it works great and you can use it with or without the hoop poles for the bug net, they just really open up the space...

hey hambone, I made a kind of mix of the flex 180 and vertex it has two full sized beds and a much smaller central shelf than the vertex. I can dig out some pictures if your interested?
