Use either my Luci light or Dutch lights. It's according to my mood
Nice setup. I've been pondering doing the same thing in the back yard this year.
I wash my diy PolyD when it gets dirty (i.e. bird poop, muddy puppy feet) in the washer on the quick cycle with a bit of liquid detergent. Then hang to dry. No issues for me yet.
All I see on the site are the Incubators. :( Where are the burrows located? Or are they already out of stock?
I would recommend an 11-12' hammock. I find that anything shorter causes more calf ridge problems for me even being 5'4". It's according to how much they want to spend and what kind of conditions...
My first hammock was a YO double. I still love it! I changed the suspension to whoopie slings and added a ridge line. I've spent several nights & many afternoons in it. I absolutely love it. I...
Panel pulls please
How is the condensation in it in the winter when totally zipped up?
Thanks for that info. That's something to consider

Thanks everyone. I'm looking at getting the Dutch 11 ft winter sock
Looking to add more gear for cold/rainy weather to my set up. Pros or cons to a hammock sock vs UQ protector. Also recommendations on what to look at to purchase.
Try this....

Welcome to hammock camping. As far as the stove, you could get both. I have a Vargo titanium alcohol stove & an Element titanium wood stove. I carry both & use the element as a wind screen if...
I plan on joining in on this. The summer heat index right now in AR is horrible though (105-110 degrees).
Welcome from NLR!!!!
I bought one a couple of years ago & changed out the suspension with whoopies. Then used it while camping with my son. I slept horribly. I had calf ridge issues and leg cramps. Personally, I...
Welcome to the fun & forum!
Awesome! That's one of the trails I plan on tackling this year. Enjoy your time with your son. They sure do grow up quickly.
Finally made my Turtledog stand last night. It was the 1st time I've had the lab in a hammock & she loved it!

i have 3 as well. Yukon Outfitters Double. Grand Trunk Ultralight. 11 ft DIY. I don't need another one either. But I'm sure itching to make another one.
It's moments in time like this that I cherish the most with my Dad & Mom. Great to see another generation loving the great outdoors.
I've been eyeballing the Circuit for a while now. I'm leaning toward ordering one. Can't go wrong with their customer service and return policy.
Just wondering what backpack my fellow lady hikers use. For day hikes I currently use a Deuter ACT Trail 28 SL. I just sold my Viva 65. I'm trying out a Deuter ACT Zero 45+15 SL. It rides great...
I'm in! Can't wait until the titanium version comes out! Looking forward to using these at the campsite!
I use Lawson Glow Line attached to my titanium stakes & Line Locks attached to the tarp pull outs. I can adjust the tarp from underneath.
Awesome tarp!
I made a hex silpoly tarp this spring but was debating whether to make another one with doors. I may have to purchase more silpoly & try this method to add doors when needed.
I...
I had a 3/4" dowel rod that I cut 3" sections to make my toggles. Drilled a hole in the end & put paracord through it. I keep them attached to the hammock & suspension with a carabiner.
Count me in!
Welcome fellow Arkansan!

I'm all Shugified today! [emoji106]
Hello & welcome from down south!
I'm not sure. I don't have that one, just the double hammock.
If you're looking for a spare or backyard hammock, Yukon Outfitters is on woot.com today. Good deals for these. I enjoy my double to relax in after a long day. They also have a rain fly listed...
I haven't seen any but you might be able to order a custom made one
I have the 1st gen silpoly. I used SilNet on the dull side. I haven't gotten to test it on a camping trip yet. Will do that soon. RBTR has a 2nd gen silpoly now that shouldn't have issues with...
Yes, I made 2 11x10 hex tarps.
Ordered! Can't wait to don this sweet Tshirt on the trails!
I'm more worried about him marking on it. He loves hiking & hanging though.
Here's my 11.5 ft hammock under the tarp. I also made a ground cloth & stuff sack for each tarp

Here's a corner. I added linelocks via lashit and Lawson glow line for my guy lines. http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/15/03/10/cb363fea336b2df6cadf3ca70b8899be.jpg
Here's my tarp. Will post the hubby's when he puts his up. http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/15/03/10/aac317f6c371ce9a205d4f72c56e23e8.jpg
Ha ha. True. But I still have to go out to set it up. It's a lounge around the house kind of day. Pics to come this week.
Well I made tarps for my hubby & I this weekend. Pics to follow when I can hang them. It's raining right now & I don't feel like getting wet right now.
What size/type of needle did you use?
Cool thanks. I have the Mara 70 thread as well.
