Well it is below freezing quite often. But not arctic temperatures.
I’ll be getting close to 20F at least once a year.

Hammocks to me are an easier way to go camping. No cleaning up muddy ground cloths on a tent. And where I lived there are more trees and rocks than flat ground. So finding a place to camp is easier....

My 2,5 year old son likes to nap in my hammock when we’re out hiking or swimming.


Unfortunately I do too. Put somehow he always beats me to it.

Hammock- and tarpcamping are way better than tenting.
At least you can take a look in the direction of the sound.
In a tent you have no idea what’s outside.
