    The 70D may feel a bit firmer and heavier.
    Single is my preference for backpacking.

    Might be a hammock hang that is not optimal.
    Also could be that the user is not used to a hammock yet.
    Maybe they hung the hammock too...

    Make sure you don't have the end cinches drawn in too tight or too loose. Many overtighten them and it creates gaps. There is a sweet spot between tight and loose.
