I actually sent my slap straps back because of the stretch. Over time it becomes unacceptable and you'll be readjusting constantly. Now I use 4mm rope that doesn't stretch at all.

I've been comfortable down to 20 deg. I have a double nest that I throw a thermarest pad in and a Montbell 10 degree down bag. I use a Jacks-R-Better cat tarp.

Nice...Moosejaw has the same kind of gimmick.

The only thing I don't like about the slap straps is the amount they stretch. I wish they made them out of a different material.
