Wooki on my Eldorado is stellar. There is exactly zero adjustment. Toss it on both ends and your done. It's never slipped or ended up in a funny spot. It has nowhere to go. It's really well designed,...
I see the thread below. I'm looking specifically for pack size comparison. Can anyone take a picture of the two side by side?
Thanks
Looking for above.
Thanks!
wow. I can't believe no one has picked this up. Slept in mine last night. These are "the best".
i'm about due a UK pub trip. Maybe, in the next month or so. If I go, I'll post in this thread. I'd be happy to add your new gear to my carry on and ship it when I arrive in the land of Real Ale.
You've been teasing us for a couple years now. Maybe, you and Powerboil should come together on this. I'll nominate myself for testing:)
Chair mode is great!
Will the bugnet be removable?
How long is the ridgeline? One of the best things about the HT90 is the short distance between trees. Sorry the picture is so small and...
As another fan of the 90degree design, let me just say how much I love your innovation, but also that you've rigged it up in your living room. Well played!
Any plan for a bug net? I bet bugs are...
We're the lucky few. Luke figured out the best setup for sure.
I bought an Eldorado because I didn't want to spend the money on the shelf I didn't want that I'd have to stake or deal with flopping around. It was not a weight decision. I also put a proper...
Not sure what you mean by vertical.
Can't rememberon the toggle. That would've given it another couple inches suspension, so maybe it just wasn't right with it.
Small sideways picture of a Hammock Tent 90degree with a Tensa Solo!

I almost (65"wide) have what you're looking for that I was about to post. Also, have a 20deg trail winder. I can get some pictures if you want. Hammock used 5 nights or so. UQ used 10-12 nights. Both...
I carry a Tensa Solo. Not a big deal, and gives lots of peace of mind, requiring only one tree/anchor. Then again, on a Spyder I doubt added weight is that big of a deal like it is on a dual sport.
What Peak shelf did you go with?
My double layer eldorado arrived today. Wanted to try a double, but I don't think it's necessary in my case. I don't feel like the lay is all that different from my single layer I had once upon a...
I'm still trying even though I know it's the first I bought. An unobtainium 90 degree from Hammocktent.com that is now out of business.
I've been messing with gathered ends the last couple years...
Thanks Deb. You can remove. I couldn't figure out how unlike the for section
Jim
Hey as long as it's not making its way in its all good!

I think I'll hold out for a light double layer..
Thanks
Some sort of Grayish is probably fine, but do you know the weight of the fabric and/or whether its the dreamtek? Looks like a single layer with buckles is $145.
Here's specs on the Trail Lair...
Long story short, I had both. Sold the Eldorado. I love the TL for its comfort. I love(d) the Eldorado for the bugnet-off-the-face design. I didn't like (as much) the bugnet on the Eldorado on the...
Mine arrived yesterday. I spent hammock time testing it out today. You guys weren't kidding. I think its what I've been missing in my setup. thanks for the recommendation. Fits perfect in the peak...
Only slept in a couple times. As new.
-Dark Foliage green dreamtex fabric
-continuous loops only. No other suspension
-Single layer
I can get pictures up tomorrow.
MSRP $125+shipping...
What do you mean by almost level?

I dig my trail lair. I find it's most comfortable with the Ridgeline pretty tight, but that goes against common technique. Curious how you like yours? Mine is 11' x 65" wide.
Also, warbonnets...
How small do these fold up? My blow up that is ok I've been using for years, folds up to about half size of a deck of cards. Pretty small. I like that
Thanks
Thanks for the explanation and the offer. I can wait if its easier on your end. Sounds like it is. I'd rather you not miss out on a sale.
So, I'm at about a 99% chance the clip will still dislodge itself. Every once in awhile I decide to figure out a better mousetrap, and every time I realize I've just wasted 20min I'll never get back....
I've been waiting patiently for this. My wife has a sewing machine. Thinking maybe its time to learn............................
I don't know if anyone can truly appreciate the HT90 without living with one. Comfort, Yes. It's great, but it's the whole package, and that could be the rub, and where it's different from an Amok....
Awhile back, I emailed him. He said he's closed up. I've been playing with GE hammocks the last couple years, but I'm sure I'll go back to the 90degree. There really is no comparison in comfort and...
Has anyone been able to compare the size of the new vs old tarp? Wondering how much bigger it truly is. Especially on the foot end.
Thanks

Not to be confused with the 40deg the other hammock maniac is looking for. I'd like a 20deg.
Thanks!
Kinda want to try one. Let me know what you got!
You're a lurker. Nothing wrong with that at all. I'm sure most folks are the same. Still, you get (alot more than) what you put into it, and since the forum is free, the forum gets to make the rules....
Yep. I remember your project. I'll be interested in hearing more when the time is right. Sad to hear about Luke, but man, there can't be much money in this business. His design was pretty focused....
Yeah. Luke really figured it out didn't he? I love mine, but what I don't love is, as often as not, waking up with a "wet" back. I suffer from condensation using a pad in a hammock. It's a bummer....
11'. 65" wide. 1.6 hexon, single layer. The peak shelf is built in and works great. Jared is the best in the business. It's awesome

Interesting discussion.
I'm a relative noob, switching to hammocks 5 years or so ago. The absolute best, for me, has been my Hammocktent.com ver 2 90deg hammock, with Lukes Carbon Fiber tarp....
My hammocktent.com tarp, built by z packs, has linelocs on the ridgeline, as well as all the guy lines and doors. It's rock solid. Can't imagine a better system. I try to copy it on every other tarp...
Alright on to the next question.
I'd like to make a couple dog bones at the correct length for quick, occasional, insomniatic (is that a word?) hangs around 2:00am in my shop. Not a long term...
great info. Thanks
Thanks all. I don't know what I'm looking at, but it looks to be 8 strands. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20210209/f4ec4fcf527bb22d32fa2c16d5920e2c.jpg

I can't remember where I got this, but I'm almost positive it's amsteel. Looks like amsteel. Is there a way to be sure so I don't crack my...
Yep. Still looking
Looking for a tensa 4 stand from tensa outdoors.
Thanks
I took a trip with the TL over the summer and it was great. 9 nights back to back, and I feel like I got it pretty dialed, but it still felt a little narrow.
A new Trail Lair showed up today and...
Same here. With his evo loop, its a pretty great, simple combo, although packs massive compared to my kevlar setup. LOL
