For those who want to go double
10x12' tarp
ENO Double nest w/homemade underquilt
Warbonnet RR bridge w/Jarbidge underquilt
I took my wife to a nearby creek and set up my rig. I got her into it and let her take a short nap while I fiddled with the tarp. A couple more "nap trips" and she was ready for an overnighter. We...
Thank you Dutch for giving us so Much! Here's hoping you and yours have a Merry Christmas and the best of health, wealth, and happiness in the New Year! :)
Welcome from Greer, SC- You're now among one of the largest groups of nice and helpful hangers anywhere here in South Cack-a-lackie. You will learn much and have great times at a hang- Don't miss...
I tried in vain to repair my grandmother's 1938 model 1591 and could not find anyone to repair the electrical cord and motor. Many of the older models have a direct drive pot motor that is no longer...
If I want to cover miles then I'll use something with a motor on it. Myself, walking/hiking is about the journey and not the destination. My pace is always broken by the wonders of the natural...
Whooo Hooo!!! Can't believe I finally won something! Thanks TATO- U Da' BEST!! Pics posted when I get hardware in action. :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
55434 Here ya' go. 2 people in 1 hammock = No sleep!

Farts- better than Bear Spray and easier to come by! LOL:D
Welcome from the Upstate of SC. Check out TallPaul's videos- he's the go to man in your area for all things hammocky.
Ingenious- I know I wouldn't mess with it! :scared:
I wholeheartedly agree Paul- those are some beauties you caught. I wish I could find native fish like that here in the SE. BTW- did you catch them in that lake with a tenkara rod?
Welcome from the Upstate- search here and watch Shug's videos and you should be good to go!
Usually just
1. Show up
2. Set up
3. Eat up
4. Lay up
5. Wake up
6. Pack up
YMMV tho'
Stevebo-
Here's a link to ordering USFS maps. The Chattooga River one is my go to map for the region. Get the waterproof one and enjoy the area!

Happy Birthday Dutch- Hope you enjoy it so Much!!
Welcome from GHRRR- I mean Greer. SC Hammockers taking over!
Don't know much about Panther Creek but I used to live in Raleigh and have hung at the Chattooga- IMHO Burrell's Ford scenery is MUCH better than Falls Park! May help you decide. Put me down as a...
You just missed Rev's Frozen Butt Hang in Sesquicentenial State Park. Great info there and even better folks. Another one's coming up at Huntington Beach State Park near Myrtle Beach next month. ...
So that's what Shug does in his off season !!!!!
Just wanted to thank everyone for making Lil' Red Bird and myself feel so welcome at the Sesqui hang!! We had a great time and enjoyed some great food and good times around the campfire. A special...

Hey Guys, my wife and I would like to join you on this hang. We are newbies but eager to learn. We have adequate equipment to endure winter hanging and would love to meet some fellow hangers. Let...
I'm In- Thanks
I'm In- Thanks
Maybe I mis-read it but the all Silnylon tarp is $99, but the Cuben/Sil is $199. For $99 it may be doable albeit a little short for most hammocks.
I second the ENO Double and if you can get one from REI and he doesn't like it, you can return it for a full refund!
Hang tight Jt- Dutch must be taking some of his Elves to task right now. He'll get to you ASAP. Greatest customer service I've ever had and quickest shipping on all my orders.
Just got it in the mail- titanium Element stove!! Woo Hoo!!
Here is a pic of my DIY quilt on my ENO DN. I used a Sports Authority down quilt for the mod and sewed a grosgrain edge to run 1/8th shock cord through. Works great as a 2/3 quilt down to 30 or so,...
Here is my setup for me and the misses. Keep the ladies close and their happier. Two hammocks are definitely the way to go! Congrats on getting your wife out there.
Wish I could afford it Fire' but no can do right now. Looking for similar one maybe in the Spring. Just wondering from the pics- did you realize that a fall from the spot onto the concrete would...
WOW! I ordered my wife's RR last Thursday and it arrived TODAY! She can't wait to hang in a bridge- Thanks Brandon. :D:D:D
Just pulled the trigger on a no-net RR for the wife- she is stoked! Now the wait begins. :(
I just ordered a no-net RR from Brandon for my dear wife Lil' Red Bird! She complained about knee pain after our inaugural hang a couple of weeks ago in her GT Traveler. I researched and decided...
Hey Shug, you and Wanderin' Fool should try to get a reality show on the air. You could travel the piney woods of the U.S. and come off the trail just long enough to sample and review foods at the...
Sweet setup and good looking site too! What type of tarp is the tan one in the middle??
Here are some pics of our campsite and setup-
The beautiful Chattooga (also site of river incident with whiskey later that evening!)
Lil' Red Bird (my better half) with our setup,...
I am sooo jealous- I want one of those just like yours. Maybe a Christmas sale wil give the wife some ideas!!! Enjoy your new downy goodness.
This past weekend the wife and I went on our first hang! We had scouted for a suitable site for a double hang with our 2 hammocks on a previous hiking outing. After loading up the final pieces of...
My wife just used her's on our latest hang with temps down to 40F and was warm and cozy as could be. Great piece of equipment at a great price. Go for it!
Congrats to a true innovator in hammocking accessories !! Rock on Dutch and keep 'em coming. :D:D:D
One step ahead of ya'- OG. Just got a Jarbridge for the Misses delivered this week off the sale. Bring on the cold- we're ready!! :D
