With the 6 foot poles inserted 6 inches it’s 11.3 feet. I drop the head end in an additional 8 inches to get the foot end higher its 10.8 feet.

Has suspension just like the under quilt, adjust as needed to fit lightly against the under quilt

One thing that was damaged at this hang was my waist line. Way too much good food! Great time thanks to WV for organizing [emoji106]

I see now I didn't see this was for a tarp.
I was trying the hook on the ridge line of the hammock so I could make it removable. I've used them on the tarp with no issues.

For what it's worth I used a Dutch hook to attach my ridge line. I attached it to my dyna glide suspension. The hook cut thru the dyna glide and dropped me.

My first few hammock overnights were in a net hammock using a 20 deg synthetic sleeping bag. Lows around 50 still cold on bottom and backside looked like a checkerboard. Pretty uncomfortable too.
