those end caps scare me. i have em on mine, but try not to use em (depends on which hammock i use). i just don't have a way of drilling an eye bolt through the conduit.

just finished my first TDS! just trying to keep it really simple. do people still use the top rail end caps as hammock attachment points? it seems the metal used is aluminum, not sure how strong...
eh, well i was thinking screws, but that would probably weaken the wood, and you wouldn't really be able to put a nut and washer on the other side.
this might be a dumb question, but do you absolutely need a power drill to make a turtledog stand?
