Well, I just don't see why you would sell a product that needs to be "flight tested."
Maybe it's the youth in me, but, if I buy something, it should be 100%. I want to use it out of the box, not...

Well, I just don't see why you would sell a product that needs to be "flight tested."

I feel a good company Would double check before sending it out. If I buy something brand new, I should be able to take it out and use it. I try gear before i take it to make sure I know what I'm...
Sounds pretty awesome!
Here's a random question you can probably answer.
When I'm suspended in the hammock, my toggles turn almost Perpindicular to the ground.
My whoopie stays around the...
I think if I do a standard 10' 10" I'll be alright.
I'm using whoopies on my WWM, going through channel, so I don't think the extra 10" or so you mentioned at the end of your post is going to...
So in conclusion. I need at least as long as my hammock, which makes sense. I just didn't know of there was something I was missing for the length because going 9ft vs 11ft would be a decent savings...
Because I'm using a bias WWM. And the tarp question is relevant to what hammock I'm using.
I thought at least.
Appreciate the fast response.
I'm working with Adam and Jenny on a tarp for my hammock.
I'm trying to be as weight conscious as possible, but like others, not sacrificing comfort.
This will be used on the entire AT.
Would...
I never used a Good choice! Bias stands behind their products, and I've been very pleased with mine, and I know I'm not the only person!
MY WWM is defiantly more of a go to than my gt. it's very very comfortable and lighter!
I'm 6'0 and have enjoyed the gt ul.
If your smaller and want the smaller hammock, the nano is probably a good choice.
The fabric has held Pretty well so far for me. So I'd recommend it.
Well that's pretty awesome!
I'll be looking forward to hearing more about this.
Thanks for your help.
Can someone post the pic?
I'm "off the grid."
+1 for fantastic service from a great guy!
I really appreciate it!
Well I appreciate the inspiration!
I got out of work today, and finally ended my 15 day stretch!
I hopped onto the site, checking out what new posts were on here and saw alot of people wanting to hang but couldn't. Then I realized,...
I agree, overexposed is a good way of saying it! I'm glad we have the ability to though!
I just got back from a quick vacation and at my doorstep sat my WWM!
I got the knotty mod, with ARL, straps whoopies, and toggles.
Weighing in at 11.8 oz total!
Im going to try to get out...
Mine is in the mail!!!!!!!!!!
Aghhhhhhh
I blame BIAS! ,
for making getting a new hammock, too exciting
I just went with a BIAS WWM, and am flicking my thumbs waiting for it :P
I decided I would buy a few things from Amazon to make the time go by faster!
 I can't wait for my hammock to get...
I'll definitely check it out! Thanks!
Yeah, these poles have treated me well so far though. Once i get my gear lined out, if i still feel like fussing this will be on that list, but for now I'm just gonna use them!
I've made quite a...
Ill look into adding another pair of socks, and defiantly going to use the sewn loop holes on the socks!
I have a feeling adding the faucet backflush kit will either be a bump box thing, or a...
Just messing around today with my list, and leaving off some items i might have considered valuable i got down to 9.17#
So far so good, still want ~8 though!
I have two pairs for summer, one liner for hiking and one midweight for sleeping.
Winter i will have a midweight a liner and a think (HEAVYWEIGHT?!) for winter
I might look into better options...
Im going to put in for this time off, I really want to check this out!
Hello Hello!
Im in the process of getting everything straightened out for my hike, so it can be smooth sailing come Springer in March!
My gear has not all been purchased, actually have quite a...
I like the concept, 6.5oz though?
Does Cuben breathe enough to use for that function?
I'm switching from a Glock 27 to a S&W bodyguard.
Smaller, lighter, laser, oh yeah.
We got hit hard here in sw pa.
I get to use my hammock on the 4th! Can't wait.
I've attempted a camping night with my nephew, before he got mouthpiece, and he grinded his teeth all night.
Never again. Mouthpiece = best 2 oz gear ever (at least for him)
Any experience with child carrier packs?
I see them a lot, never heard how well they work.
Hello from Uniontown!
Haha :)
My TQ & UQ setup I'm working on may make you drool :P
I won't jinx it though, you'll have to wait!
Is 13 ounces too heavy for a cookset? I'm looking at the AGG setup, seems nice.
So, I'm jumping back and fourth between the nano 7 and WWM.
I'm 6' so the length of the Nano is of question.
What's the pro/cons of the longer ridgeline on the WWM?
Im looking at 15oz for a...
Shug, balancing a 30ft ladder on your head is impressive, let alone a 10ft unicycle mandalin(sp?) solo!
Bravo!
Looks nice.
I'm lookin into they AGG Setup.
13 ounces and seems to be a nice system
my Employer and I both appreciate it.
I've been runnin around fighting off raccoons from eating my food to pass time.
So pondering around forums, YouTube, and google.
I just want to talk gear!
Anyone bored enough to humor me?
I'm a new hanger, looking for UL setups
Looking to figure out my hammock,...

hahah shug! Im another one who has to thank you for approaching informative videos in a comical fashion! I really enjoyed them!
Wooooo Buddy!
:thumbs up: for HG
I was talking to a fellow member who has a custom HG tq/ya setup that's sub 17oz
I like!
Yes Please let me know!
Im very glad to hear your pleased with them, i think they are going to be the right choice for me!
I came up with these as my options:
TeWa Breeze UQ - For Warm Weather - 10 oz
HammockGear Burrow (M50??) -~13 oz
Any opinions?
Looking for opinions on UQ/TQ Setups that are Lightweight and around 40*
I will probably switch to a lower rated UQ for cold temps, and vary my top layers by what i wear while sleeping, so try to...
Yeah I can switch to summer gear. What do you suggest I look into switching?
I'm going to use agg ul jacket and Zpack kilt.
I have my REI igneo bag, is it worth switching to a tq?
Looks like hammock gear > zPack for a 1.3 ounce weight saving!
Any reason not to make that switch?
My bugnet choice will be highly dependent on what hammock I finally buy.
Nano and WWM are the two battleing.
I'm not even quite sure how much difference of weight there is between the two. ...
Also looking into nano 7s. Smaller but I think I'm light enough that it won't stretch too bad. I've read success stories of much heftier people using them.
It could also shave a few ounces.
...
It's a 2 oz choice.
If I buy a DL how hard is it to remove the 2nd layer?
I'd rather buy it and try it, if I don't need it just take it off.
