Yes, gathered end hammock under quilts fit. It's basically 2 hammocks with a bridge between.
It is a double layer. The bottom hammock layer is the top layer of the underquilt. I can't wait to try it out next weekend.
A few pics
So I've been wanting to try an integrated hammock/underquilt for a while. This one popped up on the FS forum so I decided to give it a try, as if I really needed another hammock or quilt. Well to...
I'll take it per our pm
Is the bugnet removable or does it just unzip out of the way?
I'm pretty sure they are designed to do exactly what you did.
I would disagree that cuben packs smaller than sil. In the stuff sack my superfly is about 2/3 the size of my HG cuben hex
Rock climber crash pads would make for a comfy fall. They are pretty pricey though.
Is it a hex or asym?
I had the exact same rip on my SF. Totally my fault as I tripped on the door guy lines. Brandon offered to sell me another superfly at a ridiculous discount so of course I bought it. Then I fixed the...
I use stingers on mine as well. I use stakeskins leave the stingers attached and find stuffing it in the sack with the snakskins on not difficult at all.
I'll take the 30
I'll take the traveler
I received it today. Thanks. Mods please close.
I've paid for it, but not received it yet.
I'll take #6 the blackrock pillow
If the $75 price includes shipping and paypal then I'll take it.
Zing it didn't work with the figure 9's for me unless I double wrapped them it the bight. I switched to stingers, works great.
How long would you say the insulation is? I'm 6'1" I'm wondering if it would cover beyond my feet?
I just spent a week in my ridge runner at scout camp. I think it's perfect for extended warm weather trips. I find it more airy and the saddlebags are fantastic. My 12 rl HG cuben hex fits it great...
I'll take it, per our pm
Glad to see you are getting back in the woods. I hope your wife is recovering well.
I'll take the stove and camelback
How much does the pad weigh? What size does it pack down to?
They only sell premium goose down. WL is great stuff. I have a summer set and I love it.
Mine stays very dry and taught
I'll take the zpacks multi pack
Very nice, what kind of stakes are you holding it with?
I'll take the exped pillow pump too
I'll take the pink quilt
I'll take the Heineken cook pot
I have a bb an xlc and a rr. The rr is my favorite. The view, the storage and the less fidldle factor with hanging it and the ease of uq use is unmatched.
I don't know about quilts but coated polyester tarps will delaminate in the heat
11' ridgeline is fine, 10' ridgeline probably not fine.
Agreed, the shelf is fantastic and once you use it nothing can take its place. I just used my new ridge runner this weekend and now I don't think there is any way I can use a hammock without...
It's much easier to roll up than sil. I haven't had any trouble with mine yet. WL mesh skins fit perfect on my 12' cuben hex.
