Anytime. Let me know how it works out for you.
I tried 18" from ridgeline 5' centered but they were too high, I ended up with 22" away from ridgeline.
But, your tarp dimensions are smaller so maybe 18" might work for you.
Longer doors would close the gap, hanging it higher will close the gap too.
Thanks. It took me about 4 hours including re-positioning the side pulls.
Thanks Shug you have inspired me in many ways with my gear selection, Or should I say Carl?
Feild tested, blends in great and blocks a lot of wind. Couldnt be happier. :D
Field test is in order for the weekend.
Fixed the pull outs. What a difference it makes.
Before and after.
Here it is in all its side pulls are 6 inches too high glory. :D I didnt factor in the extra fabric width of 4'' on each side, of the 64'' wide fabric.
All went well, even though USPS miss sent my...
Most likely straight for the door ends.
The 10x12 rectangle with 6' tie-outs and panel pulls seems like the best option. Thanks for the help.
I didnt feel I needed to with the panel pulls, but I might put a cat cut on the bottom edge between the two tie out points.
I ordered 8 yards, I was adding the length of 1 side so many times in my head I forgot about the width.:D
How about 126" ridgeline 144" base, tie outs 6' on center and pullouts 5' on center.
Will this work?
I only bought 4 yards from DIY, and I should receive it in the mail today or tomorrow.
I was trying to make due but looks like I'm in a pickle.
13' bottom length and 11' ridgeline would work.
Forgot to add my diy hammock is 11' long with a 104" ridgeline.
A 10' tarp ridgeline wont give me enough coverage.
Not doing cat cuts this time. Just wondering if this idea would work good for
making a big tarp with doors.
Should the side tie-outs be 6' or 6 1/2' apart if the bottom is 12' long?
