I tried the prussik as you suggested. It slipped. I tried it again with the klemheist knot, which held. The klemheist holds and it ties and unties easier.
I then moved on to the woopie and now...

I tried the prusik and found it to slip, and I'm only about 155#. I switched to the klemheist, (a great knot, easier to tie) which holds me fine.
I have and continue to play with different...
