I have had this tarp for over 7 years and it has never leaked on me. I wonder if there has been a change in material or design?

My girls have camped in a hammock as early as 2 years. Fully enclosed with me close by in my hammock

I'd like to second the Tums thing and kidney stone are infinitely worst then acid reflux. My doctor prescribed a acid reducer that has made my issues much better
Last year I made two hammocks for my 2 year old and 4 year old and they slept in them multiple times last summer. No issues they can't wait to do it again this summer.
Will not ship to Canada. That is disappointing. Would have bought 2 for my girls
Man things get hectic fast. Spent the weekend on the Marty Legere search and rescue. Purchased a cabin on the south shore off Nova Scotia. Mosquitos are coming out now. Suggest a weekend and I'll...
I bought a set of ratchet straps 1" from bargain Harleys in Berwick for $5 and removed the metal hooks
I'm wonder the same think. I wonder if it would work with my Claytor jungle Hammock.
I bought two 84 inch rod pocket curtain panels with a shear panel already sewn on at the top. I sewed one side and the bottom and added a zipper to the remaining side so now I have one for each of my...
How is it? Everything you hoped
Nice, to bad they won't ship to canada
Did it arrive?
That's great bet you can't wait to try it out
Don't take it personal.
I have the claytor and choose it for among other reasons the higher weight rating. I second the included straps are not great.
I also ran a 100 inch ridgeline. To long and it is near impossible to get in and out
I replaced the suspension with whooping slings and hang between two trees about 13 foot apart. I try to get the straps at 30 degree
I have that same hammock I'm 6 foot and approaching 3 bills. I find it massive. The frequent bathroom breaks are a very real thing for me also.
Would be great for side by side set up with the wife or when taking the little ones
Looks good.
Think that we should set up some possible dates for the hang
Can't wait for the weather to get better
Looks good.
Figured it out sorry
Cape split looks good, I haven't done it. If I do that I'll have to convince the wife to come, take the motorcycle, or car pool.
Cool. You must be excited
I was in Walmart and in the sport section the are a set of fiberglass poles for golf that might work alignment sticks that might work...
I found some nice thick 1 inch straps from a roof top carrier that I repurposed for tree straps they seemed a little stiff. I tied them to my tree with a marlin spike using a 1/2 inch copper pipe as...
Said no hammocker ever
The spreader bars are made from aluminum arrow shafts cut to 9 inches and joins with a wooden dowel to make them 18 inches
Two 2 piece spreader bars, two toggles and two pegs
Here is the contents of my pouch
My envelop can be but in before or after be it is a little easier before. I have tried to attach a pic.
The option seem so vast and endless. A group hang would be fantastic. I appreciate any thoughts and ideas given here and we will look into them all.
One thought a potty hammock suspension failure could be worse the your hammock suspension failure. Only on will land you in -----. That being said there is many possible uses for this. Could we bury...
We were thinking of mid August. The thought for camping was to fly in pick up food supplies at the destination. We would most likely get a cab to the drop of point and do a 2 to 4 day hike then get a...
The wife has saved up enough air miles to fly to one of the following states Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky,
West Virginia, Virginia, Pennsylvania, New York, Maine, Vermont, New...
Cool, definitely offers more options then a standard whoopie sling. You could attached it to a closed loop or ring with out the need of additional hardware. You could also feed it thru a tube if you...
I had/have a similar issue with my spreader bars for the screen on my hammock, here is what i have done. I took some cardboard made a envelop and wrapped it in a single layer of duct tape. This...
When do you expect it to arrive?
Cool sounds good.
Any one else in or near Nova Scotia interested in a group hang?
If everything else is equal a 4 mm rope will place 8x the psi on the tree of a 1 inch strap. It is important that we foster a attitude for conservation and protection of the environment here if we...
I call for a visual aid
My only point is that the hang time is nearly irrelevant compared to the forces subjected to the tree. Looking forward to some pics of your setup ,
Great concept, get to meet someone one on one and get a great feel for great products.
I have a few trees in my back yard that I have been testing my hammock gear on. The only damage I have noted was from a short hang where I poorly set up my hammock without straps. Well the tree...
I don't use straps for things with little weight or force. The reason for a strap is to spread the force over a greater area and not crush the bark and putter layer of the tree. With my weight in a...
