If the last one has the kydex sheath I'll take it, please send pm
Ok you talked me into it. I'm in!
Where ever I go I take my stand. The indoor shots are in a hotel last summer while I was on the road for work.
This was an awesome trip. Can't wait for the next one.
Here is my video.
Fajitas are ready. I'm very tempted to try one. Just to make sure they are good.
Cncd11 pulk looks good.
Turkey that's why I didn't get a bigger sled. I already take to much lol.
Might have more snow on Thursday. Last I saw possible lake effect.
Come on Dave. Where is your sense of adventure?
That's the one I wanted but was not available at the store I went to. I ended up with the next model up. It's a tad big, but when the kids go I can carry some for them.
Great trip report. Pictures were awesome. Hope you can make it up at the end of the month. Curious what osprey pack that is?
Here is the link to the video I put together for this trip. I am hoping to redo it and add some still pictures. http://youtu.be/hAUSbhT5jyk
Andrew I have a HG 0 top and under quilts with 2oz of over stuff. I use it year round. Coldest I have been is down to 1 above. In the summer I have used this combo and just vent. I would rather...
I have both the blackbird and the XLC. I find the XLC more comfortable. I am 5 11 and 220ish +\-.
Awesome Dave looks like you volunteered to carry the what seemed to be the 50# Dutch oven. Can't wait for this one, maybe we will have some colder weather.
Heading to ed's this afternoon to process...
I have both and both are great but I can get a better hang with the XLC, it has a removable bug net it can be left off or replaced with a solid cover for winter. That will help retain about 10...
Welcome Gary from northern Michigan. I started out with a HH and its been nothing but an updating fest for the last year and a half. I have a WBBB and the XLC. I would go for the XLC if I had to...
Can you post a pic of your dog in the pack for reference to my dog. Thanks
Afternoon snack. 97472
Great weekend so far.
Went back to the campground today. Not as much snow as I hoped for but the forecast looks promising for more. I wanted to make it to the winter hang this year riverjoe but I will be on a cruise in...
I'm in. Hopefully will have some fresh venison.
Great trip report.
My ridge pole is 16' and hammock is hung about 1' in on each side. I am using the aluminum military poles. I do hang the foot end few inches higher. I use a continuous loop and just make a few...
Here is my go at the stand. Works great in the back yard and hotel life.
Great job! I had the same issue here. I even got the nick name captain craftin. They just don't understand.
I asked if they could install eye bolts for me the first week I was here and they thought I was crazy.
Here is the link great info. If you want the clips to hold the poles together go to www.zorotools.com they are a lot less in cost than granger.
The poles are the military ham radio antenna. They are 4' sections and are perfect. There is a thread here about the military poles. The only thing I'm going to change is the lashing. I will...
After five weeks in a hotel I couldn't take it anymore.
Now I will sleep great again.
Check out simplylightdesigns.com Jared is awesome. His trail lair hammock I believe has what you are looking for and it's 99.
Send him a email and he will help you figure out exactly what you need.
I just ordered a winter haven tarp with all the bells and whistles last Sunday and Jared had it out to me in a few days. Simply brilliant is an understatement!!
Mods SLD needs its own heading...
Great video. Just enjoyed 5 days there about a month ago.
I'm in. multi cam would go great with my new WBBB. I will cover shipping.
Thanks for the chance.
Someone at work a few weeks back asked me to borrow one of my hammocks and tarp. I said sure with a $500 deposit. Needless to say he didn't want that great offer.
Great report wish I would have read it before I went to the island. Just got back Sunday from 5 days in serenity. Hope to get a trip report out this weekend.
If you order whoopies some places ask if it is for Hennessy. They make the end that attaches to the hammock a little longer. I have always made my own and use dogbones on the hammock for easy...
The Hennessy hex is heavy seems to be very durable. I have had doors added to mine and have an extra without doors. If you follow eBay you can get great deals. There is a thread on HF about the...
That is how I lashed mine and it works great. Inspect them every time before use.
I will take the burrow and the incubator per pm.
Glad you could admit to having a problem. That's a start at more gear lol.
Nice video. I did something similar. What I did different was on the constrictor end where the burry is I put a prussik and made it into more of a UCR. Reason I did was worried about the line...
If you have a army surplus in your area you could get a poncho liner for an uq and if you do not have something for a over cover you could use another ponch liner. With what you already have this...
Troll I know it will take time to work out the new bugs. But I am still getting that error.
[QUOTE=attroll;1221039]This should be fix now. Everyone should be able to view them.
Troll I am still getting that message. Great job on the site.
I was able to go right in there site with an iPad.
I'm glad I'm not the only one in the basement.
Great job. The D will turn out better the next time around.
Well the site has more tarps. But now they are $83.99. That is one heck of a price increase.
Pictures or it didn't happen.
Congrats on your first hang.
