Sounds fun! What are you taking it to keep it at 13 lbs.? That's a pretty low weight, for me anyway.

Have fun! Look forward to the report.
Link works for me too. Thanks for the heads up!
I love my Mamjamba! It's a great tarp.
They have to step up their game. That or get left behind.
Looks awesome. I always love finishing a project, especially my first attempt at something new. Quite an accomplished feeling. Good job.
Good idea on the underquilt!
My decision is now between a polar-tec fleece and the wiggys.

It is lighter, but I was going to use my Wiggys poncho liner as a top quilt and leave the sleeping bag at home if I took my underquilt.

Going to the Gorge this weekend and I'm having a hard time deciding wether or not to take my Underquilt. Supposed to get down to 60 at night, would I be stupid to save the weight and just take a low...

The mamajamba. I'll take the mamajamba.
I'll take it.

What size did you get for your superfly?
Welcome from Black Mountain NC!

From my post count you would think that I'm either new to this forum or I don't frequent it. Neither is true. In fact I am on this site everyday just about. What a great resource. I have been hammock...
Welcome from Black Mountain NC.
Been going to the gorge since I was in scouts and every trip has been amazing. It's a brand new experience every time. You will have a blast no matter which route you take. Shug's videos are awesome!...
That makes it easier. I have heard mixed opinions for which is better for a side sleeper. Can you sit and hang out in the ridge runner as easily as the blackbird?
I'm pretty new to hammock camping. I have had a single nest ENO for probably about 8 years and use it off and on, but I am looking to get something better. I'm looking for more comfort. I'm a side...
