I lie there quietly and listen to the voices in my head. I still can't understand the one that's speaking Chinese. :)
Actually I read a little while and listen to music.

Wow, just imagine if a saguaro fell on you, yikes!
Hi,
Just went to order some cinch buckles and they're out of stock. When will you be getting some more in?
Also, have you looked at making some double-ended stuff sacks?
Thanks.
I can't wait 'til the video where you demonstrate the whole "peeing in the hammock" thing. Now that will be true comedy gold. ;)
Was that the first time you tried it? You're awfully brave, although I'm thinking it's a win either way. If it holds, you show how strong it is. If it breaks, you get on "Funniest Home Videos". :)
Remember, cute, scantily clad women pep up any video. ;)
My wife found some of this today, almost 10 yards!! I guess it's time to learn to sew. It seems pretty breathable, so I might try a gathered end hammock. At $1.50 per yard, I won't feel bad if I...
+1 on going barefoot or using minimalist shoes. For training, ditch insoles or any supports. I used to have weak ankles and feet. I tried all kinds of stuff. I finally tried running in stripped...
Watch out for the crocs. ;)
Or are they hibernating by now?
C'mon! You've got three kids and a wife, right? She had the baby a couple of weeks ago, that's enough of a vacation. Time for her to get back to work. Kids have those nimble little fingers to do...
Just bang the snow off! ;)
Another suggestion. How about some double ended stuff sacks as described in this thread?

They sound really handy.
My wife has been checking anytime she goes into a WalMart. She finally found some today!!! Two pieces, 2.8 yards and 6 yards. Now I can try a few projects I've had in mind.
Wow! Way to go. You should be proud.
So.....are you making up a mini hammock for the new arrival? :)
Also, can't you figure out a way to hang a hammock in the hospital instead of using the cot? A couple of big eye screws should...
Good luck!
I love seeing boxes too. My wife hates it! :o
Funny, I'm thinking of trying this too. I figure a few more ounces of down couldn't hurt.
They definitely go bad. Generally if it's hard or has lumps, it won't work.
Actually, it's not sure what season to be here. 29 degrees this morning, 97 degrees now! You can burn up on the hike, then freeze at night. :)
29 degrees here this morning. Time to start testing hammock insulation.
Super glue isn't waterproof.
Fall fell, 31 degrees here this morning, blowing about 15 MPH. All summer long the lows were around 50 degrees, and the highs were around 100. It went from that to the lows below freezing and the...
Hi guys,
Just a quick note of thanks for all the information on the site.
I just started hammocking and am really enjoying it. A good nights sleep without rocks or cactus! :)
I picked up a...
Exactly. Hilarious movie. Jack Burton...... a real man.
I've just started hammocking. So far, the comfort is what I like best. Much better than sliding off a pad into cactus in the middle of the night, or waking up stiff and sore. (I'm talking about...
