Tadpole tarp with door and pole kit sold pending payment to jsquats.
No issues with the tarp. I just tend to use my Toxaway or DIY tarps now.
Used about a dozen times. Door was never used.
Warbonnet XLC sold to cholla28.
Price Drop:
XLC - $120
Tadpole with Pole and Door kit - $120
Afternoon Bump.
WL makes a door specifically for the Big Daddy, so I would guess that the Tadpole door wouldn't be the best fit.
Also, I'd like to sell the door kit and pole kit together with the tarp.
1.7 single layer.
Thanks. Main post updated.
Warbonnet Blackbird XLC 1.7 single layer. Older model from when they were listed as "Net Only" on the website. This XLC does not have an overcover.
Includes Warbonnet webbing/buckle suspension but...
Crazy last minute changes for me. Won't be able to make it this time. Have fun everybody.
Ok I think I can make it out for this one. I'm not online, so unless something crazy happens, I'm in.
Now I need to get on making a new bug net.
The link says the price is per foot, not per yard.
I almost bought some fabric on ebay once at what I thought was a good price, only to finally find the "per foot" deep in the description.

Dutch you are truly excellent. Thank you.
Since I'm about to finish making my first bridge hammock I figured maybe I'll strike while the iron is hot and improve on my first try.
I have the needed...
Have fun everybody. I'll be at work so I can't make it.
The current pictures in the Boone Hammock COLOR section are of my brand new custom Boone 40!
I don't like having to fiddle with an underquilt all the time, and after having seen Alex's hammocks at...
This and the announcement of the new super light something have me very excited.
Someday in the not too distance future, I will have a full Blaze Orange set up and a Blaze Yellow set up.
Thanks for the heads up. Restock of rope accomplished.
My custom Boone 40 is in the mail! I can't wait to not have to deal with a separate underquilt.
Coral/Orange 1.6 Taffeta with integrated bugnet - "Grapefruit Riot"
Grey 1.9 ripstop - "El Tiburon"
2x Orange 1.6 HyperD with blue stitching - "Swamp Thang" and "Gator Getaway"
Purple 1.6 HyperD -...
I've named all the hammocks I've made for myself and others. I enjoy it and will continue to do so.
Just ordered some Kevlar straps and Adutchable clips.
Looking forward to lightening my suspension some more with these by adding them to my Speed Hooks (at least until Speed Hooks 2.0).
Thanks Dutch! This is awesome. Working with down still scares me, but I'm willing to give it a try if it means getting to build my dream quilt for this contest. I built a winter top quilt this year....
Very nice idea on the bug net. Best of both the Fronkey and the tube style. Wish I had thought of combining the two when I was making my new bug net a couple months ago. I usually need a net no...
I've put in to be a volunteer at Springfest. If I'm not chosen as a volunteer, I'll probably try and make the hang.
I've used the yellow straps from Harbor Freight, but not the ones you've linked to.
The yellow straps worked fine for me. My friend on the other hand forgot to seat the cinch buckle fully on his...
Dutch, I appreciate your standards. I used my Speed Hooks for the first time, besides testing and minor lounging, at the FHV. I loved them. And I can already see where they are going to create wear,...
Kyle, some how I missed the news that you were at the hang. I saw several Blaze Orange tarps this weekend, including my own Blaze Orange Toxaway, which made me feel like I wasn't the only crazy...
I would love to see some sil in Spectra Yellow. I'm a fan of non-subdued, bright colors though. I know I'm a little weird.
Yes! A big thank you to Hammock Gear. I won one of their pillows in the raffle and also used it last night. It was a very nice addition to my hammock sleeping experience.
Getting excited. Still haven't starting packing. That will happen tomorrow night, after work and after I finish sewing my friend's hammock so he has something to sleep in. See everybody Friday.
I haven't had a chance to make a stuff sack for it yet but a small bundle it will not be. The APEX 5.0oz plus the poncho liner means that it is going to be a rather bulky item. I will try to weigh it...
Thanks everyone.
Yep this is all about style. Well, style and hiding peak bags. But mainly style. He's not too worried weight. Plus, I don't the quarter yard (maybe less) of 1.0 HyperD used for the...
Today I finished my first top quilt. I think I'm going to call it the 'Double Down.' Double the insulation and double the camo. I used the instructions from diygearsupply.com as my template and it...
Finished my new synthetic top quilt today.

It should keep me much warmer than my old sleeping bag did last year.
Now all I have to do is finish the hammock I'm making for my buddy who's...
I am about to make my buddy a hammock out of some Blaze Orange 1.6 HyperD. He is a Florida Gators fan, so I'm planning on using some blue thread and I was considering adding some blue hoods for an...
I can put the feet a little higher most of the time but too high, or random chance with the inner ear, and I can start feeling funny.
I've also gotten into the habit of hanging lower then I used...
I plan on using my Silpoly to give my first go at making a tarp. Since that is the case, I plan on waiting a little bit longer while others are testing out what, if any sealants work on this...
Thank you for the quick replies everyone. I had a feeling it might be a tension issue, but still wanted to ask since I've used lighter weight fabric and not seen this problem.
This is great...
I have made and slept in both 1.9 and 1.1 ripstop hammocks. I haven't had a chance to make or try out a hammock in HyperD 1.0
As a 6', 165lb person, I can feel a difference in stretch between the...
A week before Christmas I started working on a new project. It was the first time I had worked with HyperD, and either out of ignorance or confidence (I had been sewing a ton of things leading up to...
Yes.
It doesn't seem as shiny in my house lighting as the website photo, but I was so glad to see that the actual fabric came out more on the gold side than the brown/olive side like the color...
Spectra Yellow please. :D
I am really liking the looks of the Tawny Olive I picked up, even if it is muted. Hoping to make a new tarp in the New Year.
Thanks for the reminder Gumbo. Money on the way. I know the expenses on this one have got to be adding up at this point.
Because PolyD sounds better/more appropriate than DiamondP?
Here's my most recent take on the stuff sack with exterior pocket/pockets.
