I have a Molly Mac Gear Box, it is new and never used. $40, shipped CONUS
Thanks for sharing. I'm shopping for a dual sport right now.
I'm going to tag this thread, as this hang is a possibility.
Jaxx, you get an "A" for originality with that music. I like it.
Browns hollow is a nice spot with good water for filtering.
Yellow river state park is always good.
I will be the only hammocker in my group. Sill haven't decided between the Ridgerunner/Cloudburst or Blackbird/Superfly. I bet I have some converts by the time the trip is over.
I'll be going in September, starting at pickerel and going to Sturgeon.
I'll keep an eye on this thread.
I just placed an order for two sets of tarp sleeves from MountainGoat. It took about a week to get them. I'm very happy with the quality of the product and the service.
Keep 'em comin Jaxx, that's good stuff.
My favorite is Ray Mears
I was doing some research on the Superior Hiking Trail when I discovered Shug. The rest is history.
If you do a search for the "Shane method" you will find a good discription on how to do this. I just did it to a cloudburst and a superfly and I'm very happy with it.
To me, this knot seems like a better version of the taught line hitch. Thanks for sharing, I like it.
I've had some stuff come up and I'm not going to make it. Next year for sure.
Yes, the fire tower road will get you there.
If you click on your username in the top right corner, it will take you to your activity.
To get to Glen Wendel: Park at the HQ, walk back out to the road, turn left then turn left again at the information hut. the trail to Glen Wendel starts there.
I've been thinking about this for awhile now and I have decided to bring a bearpaw designs net tent to go under my super fly.
Sold to AScott PF.
Dutchware tarp pole mod in new condition, never used. This was an impulse buy that I don't think I will use. $40.00 shipped conus. You save 9.50.
I'm going to try and go to both.
My son has one more year of high school football, after that I plan on attending one of these hang's.
How do you like the KLR, i'm thinking about getting one.
I stayed at Whitefish mountain resort this July. Next time I go back I will stay closer to the park, or in the park. I thought it was a little to far away. Whitefish is a nice town though.
Hello, the last couple of years there has been a group hang in the fall, just up the road from you at Yellow River. Hopefully it will happen again this year.

I'll take the tactical bag.
Good job, your video skills are improving. Fun music too.
I have both. I like both but if my house were on fire and I could only grab one, I would grab the ridgerunner.
Good report. It's nice to hear about and see different places.
I'm a "maybe"
I started watching Ray Mears, and just like Shug's videos, once I started I had to watch them all.
I'm keeping an eye on this thread.
Thanks TallPaul, that's exactly what I was talking about.
No worries, I'll adjust. I just thought i was missing a setting or something.
Yes, I know about the horizontal bar. On the old forum you had a count beneath your avatar, so if you were more than one page behind, you had an idea of how much catching up you had to do with out...
I thought about that but it always shows 1 of 17 pages, no matter how many new post there are.
