Right now my 40 degree tq is unsnapped and hanging out on our sofa. Wife and I share on those cold nights.

I.prefer to keep mine a slight looser then pull tight by bringing the guy lines tight. Gives a slight curve to the top.

I put a climbers ring on one of my continuous loops, then used a length of amsteel with a fixed loop on one side. I used the end without a loop to make my ridgeline adjustable by tying on the ring.

Its the primary that was way too tight. I just spliced 18" of shock cord to the primary. It is still tight, but much better. I think that's close enough now to do the trick.
