Count me in. Thanks!
I put this down on the calendar. I'd like to make it but sometimes life gets in the way!
Please count me in! Thanks!
I'll take it! I've been eyeing top quilts for several weeks!
I'm in, thanks Gnar!
I'm in. Merry Christmas!
OK, I'll keep trying...any specific setup recommendations?
Dutch, looks like it is sewn flat (see photo). Is this what you were asking?
I searched but didn't find any threads on this problem. I have a second-hand stock HH Hyperlite Zip - no mods. The ridgeline sags regardless of the different setups I have tried. The hang angle...
Count me in! Thanks!
Here's a first for Hammock Forums...I have a prosthetic leg that absolutely cannot get wet. I also remove it when I sleep which isn't a problem in a tent but more challenging with a hammock. I'm...
Count me in. I love buffs!
Won't be able to make it. :-(
I'm in. 3, 2, 1.
Count me in. Excited for your first hang of the season?
Thanks for the tip...
I'm still a noob so 22F is my low from a couple weekends ago.
Love the "lion"...where is Linville?
Not sure if it's worth the time. Guy line material is pretty cheap...
Don't worry about it. Get plenty of good nights hanging then you'll know what you want to tweak!
Just picked up my jackets from JCP tonight...I see some projects in my future! Thanks for posting!
I use a thermarest pillow and its perfect. Not sure if its the same as the other's posts.
Here's the product: http://www.rei.com/product/719843/therm-a-rest-compressible-pillow?stop_mobi=yes
Those thick broccoli rubber bands work great for bundling tree straps and such!
I'm in. Very kind of you!
What... No ridgeline?! 😀
Just two nights so far... But at 40 degrees F and 22 degrees F!
4 season tarp with doors
3 season UQ
65 L lightweight pack
Excellent work! I've got five jackets on the way now. Looking forward to working with them. Thanks for the ideas!
I'd love to be able to hang in the basement...and I'd love to have a basement! 😀
Bump for Buzz. I have this Explorer too and it's been great so far...and this is a good deal considering the regular price of the hammock and tarp.
I'm interested in rounding out my novice hammock gear with some essential winter hanging equipment. I don't have unlimited funds (who does?) so i'd like to be wise with what I purchase.
I'm interested if my calendar cooperates. What month is it typically held?
Is the 7/64 12-strand the right size for whoopies and ridgelines?
I got my Explorer this past October. It's been great so far! I did replace the stock suspension with whoopies and hooks...makes setup a bit faster.
That is just rotten! You're expect anyone who's enlightened enough to be exploring the woods would have better values than that! Maybe it was a raccoon...they're always stealing stuff... :)
Enjoy the Explorer. It's a great hammock with some space to spread out!
Enjoy the gear Jaxhiker! I'm jealous!
Remember...don't boil the yellow snow!
Picked up a HH Expedition at this years REI garage sale for $60. Not a thing wrong with it. I also got a Kelty Redwing 50L pack for $20 at the same sale.
Glad to see the disease is spreading!!! I would love to see some numbers on percent of campers/hikers using hammocks and the trend over time.
I'll take the two remaining blue vests. PM sent.
What would the total be on the XL blue and 2XL blue including shipping with the stuff sacks?
We expect one heck of a trip report!
I'm aware of the subscription option but is there anything even more simple that allows you to tag your favorite posts or threads and retrieve the favories list at a later time?
I converted my HH to Whoopie slings w/continuous loops which makes it very easy to adjust. It wasn't that hard and you can buy a kit from Dutchware specifically for Hennessey. (Just check the weight...
Count me in please. Thanks!
I've been interested in checking out Deam but we have a scouts overnight at Bluesprings caverns that night. How does Deam compare to other spots in Indiana?
Quite impressive! Especially for the cost!
Very nice. It is inspiring to see!
