I agree with this and ditching the top portion of the sock is the way to go. Many of us have tried to use socks in deep cold (below -15f) and all the frozen snowy condensation isn't worth it at all....

Talk to TZbrown as he is the only person I know that has had actual success with socks in Socks create so much condensation that they aren't worth it in my opinion and I have hit -20f while using one...
