Sorry I missed it. I'll catch you on the next one.
I'm pretty sure I know where that is. Looking forward to it!
I'm up friday night or Saturday morning. Green Timbers will be 10 days.
Is red bridge the one on the south end of the loop? Are you going up the MRT or the NCT side?
I have been running Camp Casey's old Knico for a couple years but just picked up a Winnerwell Fastfold Titanium. Trying to lighten the load and reduce the bulk in the pulk.
I might be in for a night or two. I need an excuse to burn in the new hot tent stove and this is my only open weekend in Jan.
Cant wait! I need to get out for a quick weekend here in January to test and burn in the new hot tent stove.
Looking forward to it!
Great outing with great people! I ran into a guy that works at Marriott but dont have contact info. Anyone know who that might be?
Cody - I have a Winter dream with doors you can use.
I'm probably heading up on monday. Anywhere close to hike/hang for a few days? Anyone else up for a pre party trip?
Bring on the bacon!
I'm in. I'll bring the dutch oven and do the breakfast burrito thing again. I've got Blue October tickets for Saturday night so I'll be bailing out early.
My vote would go for the smoked porter.
We stayed at Lake Ann State Forest Campground last year. Not no far away.
I'm ready! Bean soup is cooked and in the freezer. I'll grab the fixins for the egg, sausage, potato breakfast in the dutch oven this week and hopefully be headed up Wednesday.
I’ll have a Dutch oven but more are always put to use. Don’t over think the food - everyone brings way to much so grab some bacon and if you do something that is unique or hearty bring it along. If...
Looking forward to it. I need to make some time to get the hot tent finished!
I can’t recommend Simply Lite Designs enough. Jared shard some proto type designs specs and gave me really good dimensions. RSBTR fabric inbound.
I’ve got a stovebjack but looking for the fabric sizing to sew up a hammock hot tent.
Thanks. I've got a pretty good idea of the overall finished dimensions i want but was looking for the fabric cut diagrams so I didnt need to do the math. I know someone had posted that before but I...
Anyone have a fabric cut diagram or plans for a hammock hot tent?
I’m in. Possible hot tent in the works.
Sounds like a great trip. That heat had to be rough.

Great trip and had a great time as always. I think I may have an answer on the coffee pot. There is a type of stove called a Chambers that had what they called a thermowell that the pot would have...
I’ll be there around noon on Thursday and plan to go in off Hare. I’ll throw a shovel in this time just for peace on mind.
I’m hoping Hare is open. That will open up a bunch of room. I’ll be heading up Thursday morning.
No tent this year guys! Just got my 13’ simply light designs tarp in
...
my wife still thinks I’m nuts whenever I go to one of these. Lol
Welcome, hope you can make it. If you plan on one dish that can feed 10 or so people and a snack you should be good. There will be pots and cast iron there if needed and most cooking is over the...
Great to hear!
It’s in the books. Hoping for some cold and snow!
Lol. Someone told me this was a formal event.
Welcome from Grand Rapids!

I use the calendared 1.1 oz for no other reason than it's usually the least expesive.
I just got pulled into a meeting in Jackson Thursday morning. I should still end up getting there by mid afternoon.
I'm planning to be there around noon on Thursday with food, cast iron and chainsaw in tow. I did a new winter quilt so I'm hoping for cold enough to give it a test run.
I'll be heading out next week for a week of car camping and day hikes with my better half up by green timbers so the cast iron will be warmed up and well seasoned. Everything was good but I'll put...
I'm planning on it.
All sold via Facebook.
At 65" the length would be considered somewhere between a 3/4 length and full. I'm 6'1" and this is the length that works great for me. If it's getting really cold I throw a piece of foam under my...
Each baffle is wider on the outside so it will form around the hammock very nicely & the 1.1 ripstop is quite soft so it gathers nicely on the ends without darts. All I have are gathered end...
Blue is sold. Yellow and olive left
Welcome from Rockford, MI.
Then I have 3. :) Actually the yellow, olive & blue one's are the only ones stuffed with downy goodness and ready go, so those are for sale.

Got carried away and won an auction for too many down comforters so I'm hoping to sell a few underquilts to help cover the cost. I'm not a professional so the stitching isn't perfect, but...
