An hour and a half away is the Shenandoah Trail in Bath county.
It's a 30 mile loop that is about as wild as you can get in Virginia.
You can access from va 250 or my favorite is scotchtown draft....

Use your nalgene at night. Heat water and seal lid tight. Put between your legs on femoral arteries and you will warm up fast if you were cold laying down.
Later if thirsty the warm water will help...

I'll try to borrow a couple light weight bows and a few arrows for the event.
My lightest is 45 pounds. Too heavy for newbies.
