AWESOME! Thank You So Much!
Thank you! Very Helpful!
Anyone know a rough temperature rating per inch of loft? I've been searching around for a while and can't find anything. Hope someone can help me out. Thanks
I've actually put a second MS in my Hammock's webbing and have both my hammock and tarp come off the same piece of webbing. That way I only have one set of webbing and I find it easier to set up my...
I don't have a preferred system yet but thanks for reminding me to put this on my DIY to do list. :)
I agree... Go for it!
Florida! Sounds like you'll need a MAJOR bug net. Welcome!
Hey Max, I'm out of PA too, Reading area. Welcome!
Great trip report! It makes me wonder if my mom would be willing to get out on the trail too haha.
Truckers hitch is the way to go for a lot of my needs, I also use prussic knots a lot, slippery half hitches, and square knots. A good knowledge of knots can save you a lot of weight in hardware.
Just wondering what size guys are making/ordering their woopies. I've been making mine out of 12ft of amsteel with a 10 in long fixed loop attached to the hammock, a 10 in fixed channel, 1 in gap,...
Cool man, waiting to see the update.
as far as the bug net is concerned I think I would just take a needle and thread and simply sew the hole shut with an overhand stitch. With a hole that small it doesn't seem like it would need a...
seems weird, I have been on and off all day and night for a while with no problems.
try a bridge hammock. check this one out https://www.hammockforums.net/forum/showthread.php?t=2479
and do some research. I am fine sleeping on my back but I have heard that these guys are great for...
I think it depends on how much you paid for it, but it seems like car camping is your easiest and best bet.
Maybe this is old news, but I just picked this new hammock up because I was curious. This makes 5 hammocks for me but I bet it would work as a good starter. It is a channel hammock with a nice stuff...
You said you didn't have a hammock yet. I just picked this one up because I was curious. This makes 5 hammocks for me but I bet it would work as a great starter. I slept in it a couple nights and it...
Welcome from PA
looks good, I was thinking of making this same design. I can't wait to see what you come up with and if you like it.
I am thinking about Sewing baffles into one of my hammocks and stuffing it with some primaloft. This way my hammock and UQ is in one and set up is easier. Has anyone tried this? And does it work well?
If you decide you want to go with factory sil I am sure that ripstop will not go to waste. You could probably still make a hammock out of it or if you've already cut it into a weird pattern I'm sure...
I want to play!
Awesome! Thanks

Hi all, This is my First Thread here on the Forum! I am wondering about my new Hennessy. I have a couple DIYs and an Amazon but the HH is my first bottom loader. I am wondering if or how everyone...
Whoopies are the way to go for me. Tree distance becomes a little less of an issue and it is quick and easy to set up and adjust.
I'm new to the forum too! Welcome from PA!
Shug, This is my very first post! I have been a big fan of you over on YouTube and decided to check out the forum. I look forward to seeing more from you and hopefully swapping stories.
