This is awesome, I like that Fire Burrow! This adds so much variety to just solid color hammocks, the choices are going to be endless down the road.
Thanks, I'm definitely interested in this setup. Unfortunately, out of stock at the moment at BIAS.
First item up for sale is an Enlightened Equipment Enigma 10* Top Quilt. Only used twice, it's as good as new. Custom made 10* bag with 950 DT, Long & Wide. The 950 fill makes this lighter than...
I never heard back after making an offer, so I'm withdrawing it and going to list it in the for sale forum. Thanks.

Bear Butt has a 10x6 with great reviews. 90% 5 stars with over 2090 reviews. For $30, seems decent. Under the answered questions, lots of people 6'5" say they fit fine in it. ...
I appreciate all the posts on this subject as I've never tried permethrin before. I had my first tick of the season on me already a few days ago. Hadn't bit me yet fortunately. I just put some of...
Good job and nice views there! I recently watched Darwin's videos on the Pinhoti. Nice to see your perspective on it too. Love that camo too!
Congrats! Please post pics after you receive it and tell us how you like it. I'm about to pull the trigger, but I'm torn between this one and a DH Darien.
Very nice write up, and great pics from yesterday!
Good to know. I was afraid maybe not having them would put more pressure on a smaller spot of the loop whereas the D ring kind of spreads the weight evenly on the loop. The person that I bought the...
Although the forecast was off from 37* to 23*, I'd be disappointed if my HG 20* didn't cut it at 23*. I figured they'd be made to overperform slightly rather than underperform. I haven't pushed my...
Thanks guys, that helps alot, I appreciate it.
Wow, this is awesome...going to be some really nice and tough choices to make now!
I recently bought a used hammock and it came with Kevlar 3.3 15 ft straps. I've never used them before, but they are extremely lightweight. According to Dutch, they are not good with Beetle buckles...
Great video. Great to see people backpacking in different conditions than I’m not used to. I don’t know how you do it in all that snow. Sometimes it just doesn’t seem that fun, but I guess it’s the...
What is the purpose of doing this instead of just the zipper attached to the hammock? Just trying to understand, thanks.
I enjoyed your video, thanks for posting. It's good to see videos where things don't always go according to plan too. That's life and makes it real!
Another theory or factor with a sleeping bag, is since the side of the bag that you sleep on is compressed, it provides no real warmth, so it's just wasted bulk and weight. With a top quilt, you use...
#3 Shoes... I have the Altra Lone Peak 3.5's. I tried them out on a test hike of 5 miles on some pretty challenging terrain, and decided to go back to my Salomon Speedcross 3's. I loved the comfort...
+1. I was thinking the same thing!
Good job, it's nice to see different setups on video. Thanks for sharing.
Did he turn to the left or the right??:)
Get both! I know, not that easy but I see you’ve already ordered the 20*, so now you’ll have some time to experiment with it and save up for that 0 degree!
I think it’s different on certain hammocks. My WB BB XLC uses them and it helps pull out the built in shelf. Although not completely necessary, I like the tighter feel of the bug net vs being loose....
Pretty awesome. Good luck on your trip of a lifetime!
+1 on the Massanutten trails.
Cool video. Good to hear all your gear performed well after your Wookie adjustments. I've yet to get up that way, but it's on my list. It's about a 4 hr drive for me, but I'll wait til warmer...
For a 20*, I have a sewn. I figure if it's that cold, I'm not going to want to open it up because my feet/toes don't get too hot in cold temps. But for my 40*, it has snaps, so I can open it up. ...
Congrats, that's a fine hammock, I own one myself. I think you're going to enjoy it!
Welcome. Shug is right, lots of answers here!
Very nice job. Especially enjoyed your editing. Top notch.
