Oh I like that. Might give that a go instead!
I only like my setup because it allows easy positioning of the tarp. I started out doing what you are doing.
That actually hasn't been an issue (knock on wood). Even with lots of slack in the tarp the toggles seem to work out ok. When under tension I don't think they really could fall out.
Soft...
Well to attach to the trees I'm using a bowline on one end and a tautline hitch on the other. The prusik knots slide on the continuous ridge line. There is no metal hardware anywhere on my tarp...
I'm doing it like so, anyone see any issue with this?
Continuous ridge line, prusik knots with toggle (small stick) through the split ring on both sides.

Was walking in Dicks sporting goods buying some camp gear and saw the eno stuff. I was looking for something backpack friendly and an eno is actually quite a bit cheaper than a lot of the light...
I'm into DIY for most things as well. The only stuff I won't touch is refrigeration and HVAC, but most of my house was remodeled by me. I've done roofs, hardwood flooring, laminate flooring,...
The 0 unfortunately doesn't seem like it will compress down much smaller and the stuff sack is fairly big. A compression sack will probably get it smaller but if size is an issue 20 is probably a...
Here is a picture of my newly acquired 0* incubator (LONG) on my BB XLC:

0* long. Just got it last week.

I ordered my 0* on the 25th and it shipped on the 3rd.
Nevermind, I sorted it.
Setting up to hang indoors, but I can't figure out what the ideal distance between anchors should be.
So a Phincubator is just an elongated Phoenix?
Ordered my 0* incubator in woodland camo on October 25th at noon, shipping notice on Nov 3rd.
Really good turn around time apparently.
Just ordered a 0* incubator. I have a 3 season Jarbridge although I got cold with it on a recent trip and that was no fun so I have to figure that out.
I've been in downpours with my SF and have not gotten wet.
I'm super noob with silny so I guess it's time to stop pressing my luck.
Yes I'm putting 280 pounds on mine.
Will do then (at some point, busy this week).
I'm sure a picture would help troubleshoot the issue.
I guess I should have been more clear, the entire left side of the jarbridge slid over, not just one corner. I don't think it was a cinch issue (I barely cinched it down).
Seeing those triangle...
Went camping this past weekend. Used the Jarbridge on a WB BB XLC. Not only could I not stay warm at 50 degrees, but it would keep sliding over toward the shelf of the WB leaving my left side cold....
I know this thread is old, but I figure I would bump it and ask why this app is no longer available in the apple store?
I figured it was the same thing. Thanks gents.
In this video he swaps out the bug net for the solid cover. Is the winter cover different or are they both the same thing? Did the XLC used to just ship with one instead of it being an add on?
...
Actually he did upgrade shipping so I will have it today. Which is great!
Shipped this morning. He didn't upgrade shipping and I'm glad he didn't because with a ship date of today I will have it in time for the trip I planned.
So for those that need the exact time, it...
Naw why bother? It is his actual average time.
Next week, paid to have it overnighted in time. I'm guessing it would have came under normal times either late next week or early the week after.
Yup so about a month for the XLC gents.
Brandon is such a cool guy. Got back to me today pretty quickly. :)
lol yeah I did. I forgot all about Monday.
Still no ship. I think I'm gonna have to call him Monday morning if it doesn't go out this weekend because I will need him to charge me for overnight shipping.
4971 ordered on the 6th...
Not shipped yet. It was an XLC though so maybe that is the hold up. :)
I did the same, but no ship confirmation yet. I hope he gets it out today or tomorrow because I was hoping to use it on the 4th. I guess I wasn't expecting to cut it this close. lol
Naw I don't think multicam had anything to do with it. I'm on my 20th day with a regular olive one and it's still marked waiting for fulfillment.
Ordered on the 6th, crossing fingers to get...
I have to fail. Give it time though.
It's about 3 weeks. I don't think it's that bad.
Yep still waiting as well.
Looks DIY to me. I did the same thing.
Not sure if I want to use it though.
I would have said deal if they came with the atlas straps. Just the hammock though? lol no way.
I drilled a hole right through the center of the bottom of the feet and ran para cord. I don't think it compromises the integrity of the structure because the holes are toward the bottom of the...
I got some tyvek from the neighbors when they redid their house. I just asked the crew if they had any left that would be scrapped. They gave me around 12 feet of it.
Find a contractor's crew...
I drilled the hole for my shackle on the hinge in the center. I wanted the weight to be distributed right down the center of each stand.
I use an EMS drool pillow with a home made pillow case out of an old shirt because I hate the way the material feels on my face. If I go hike I won't bother packing the case, I would just toss a...
Last time I went camping it was with a bunch of CCW holders. It would have been pretty stupid to try to rob anyone in that group while anyone was around (and between the 15 of us, someone always...
I have yet to run into restrictions in my state.
Yep I'm hitting the dacks in September myself.
Received my kit today as well. Temporarily installed on the eno double nest. Very nice product.
Also took the hammock and suspension (eno atlas and biners vs whoopie) from 1.97 pounds to 1.4...
I don't own one yet (in the mail), but I can tell you it replaces the net.
I sort of wish I had read about the specs on the woopie kit a little better. I would have gone with the 1" instead.
All well, I doubt it was that much of a weight difference. :)
Woopies are lighter than buckles. Buckles are apparently easier to setup though. You save 3oz going woopies (says so on the warbonnet site).
I say XLC because of your hight, we are about the...
