    As a fellow MD'er, I'll pile on to the 10 Deg buffer. That seems to work well around here. It is pretty common to be a bit cooler than any of closest weather stations.

    If you want a true 30deg quilt you need to talk to adam and order it as a 30 deg, so that the baffle height is increased. That is what really affects the temp rating.
