Both my boys use these and they have been comfortable in the 20's
I want to thank everyone for coming out and making this trip a success. It was nice to see everyone again and to meet some new folks.
I want to thank Chris183, Diana, PBTB12, Ratdog, SilvrSurfr, and...
Welcome from South Jersey.
Keep an eye on the trip planning page we have a pretty active bunch here in NJ normally get out once a month.
we will be good had a few drop out.
The cost will be $20 per person I'll collect at dinner.
I'm bringing my winter castle with wood heater to eat dinner in comfort. It'll be a tight fit but I think everyone will fit.
We will be prepared. Borrowing my troop's carport just in case
Just got home with 9 pounds of bacon, 6 racks of ribs, and 2 pounds of sausage.
Lets have a moment of silence for the pigs who died so we could eat good in the woods.
Food costs include site fees.
I have plenty of charcoal so don't worry about picking any up.
Should be plenty
All day rain Thursday should keep river levels up for the weekend:cool:
If you signed up to pick up food please update the spread sheet with the actual costs as soon as you can so that we will know what everyone's share for Sat/Sun is. Right now figure on $20-$25 per...
We are paddling to preburn the calories from dinner.:D
You can also take lessons from Ratdog on how to hang your hammock 2 inches from the ground to minimize the drop.
That works please put the total that you spend on the spreadsheet under actual costs so that we can make sure everyone pays their share.
How many did you buy and what was the cost?
Well that sucks.:(
I already knew your answer.:)
11:30-12:00 arrive at Bodine field transfer as many of the boats as needed to my truck and trailer and head to the drop in
12-1 shuttle cars and drivers back and forth to leave...
We're going to need more BACON!!
Good to hear you finally made it into your hammock.
This is going to be a 7 pallet night.
On my truck with the trailer I can carry 6 canoes and 5 or 6 kayaks. With some creative loading may be able to fit a few more of each.
I think the budget can handle some sausages for the midnight...
Just increased the ribs to 8 racks
I have enough PFD's and paddles for my boats. I may be able to procure an additional canoe I'll know for sure after this weekend.
Your organizers are already on it.:)
I could not spend much time in the canoe without mine.
We would need to know for sure the Thursday before the trip. This is a day paddle.
We should be good. I figured for 20 people.
Site 1 booked
right now there are 5 kids 18 and under coming.
Pic came up as I was typing. It looks like your too loose on your suspension.
Try tightening your suspension a little. Do you have any pics of the hammock setup that show the entire hammock from the outside?
OK so who's in and who's out please update spreadsheet when you know.
These are the maybe's on the spreadsheet.
I'm pretty sure the fish loved your bread. They used it for cover to hide from predators.
We could do a seafood appetizer.
I'm with SS on this.
Yeah for K.K.
My last order took less than 24 hrs to arrive at my door. Ordered 3:30 Fri afternoon received 12:30 Sat afternoon.
Updated Spread sheet with Cost Breakdown.
Please mark cost sheet if you can bring some thing on the list.

some sort of veggies(some will be cooked in the D.O. with Ribs and Chicken)
We need some sort of dessert maybe a cobbler of some sort(Any...
So that's 1 vote for Chicken and Ribs. We are going to need a few Dutch ovens
Sign up sheet in my signature if you haven't already please update.
If we hit 15 people let's change to Plan C. Unless there are any other suggestions.
Now that that is taken care of.... let's talk food. Lunches will be on the water and the therefore up to each...
There are 2 plan C's
I personally think 1 of the plan C's may be the best alternative. With this many people food and gear is going to take up a lot of space.
