+1 on supporting cottage vendors
Whoopies were my first mod when I purchased my ENO last year. I found the easiest way to stuff everything in the bag and keep it tidy is to stuff the hammock all the way in leaving the ends for last....
The ENO is a great starter hammock though i have had mine for a while and will not buy another anytime soon. It is super comfortable and durable. The material is a little heavier than most but imo is...
+2 on the eye bolts
Biners were the first thing to go when I purchased mine. Doesn't make sense to use something you can trust 100%
Not only will you save in weight but you will enjoy the convenience of dialing in the length of your suspension with whoopies every time. ENO straps limit this even with the new atlas straps. I also...
I really researched and tried to figure out what would be the easiest and most professional way of sewing the ends and came to the conclusion that I would allow additional length to my inner and...

Looks nice.
That is a nice setup. Happy hangin'

You might consider attaching grosgain loops along the outside edges of the sleeping bag to help support the weight and prevent too much sag. I did this with a diy under quilt and it works great. If...
It is 30F for me as well. As long as I have my wool socks and refletix, I am good to go
Looks great! Good luck on your next diy, you will be winter camping before you know it.
You can use the search engine at the top right to find threads already posted. Good luck!
Thanks doogie. I appreciate the link that helps a lot.
I am looking to make my own underquilt and have heard about differential baffles. Wondering 1) what that means and 2) is it a more efficient design when it comes to retaining heat?
Thank you everyone for the warm welcome, it is much appreciated. I am looking forward to getting to know everyone.
Hey gang. I have been a member for a while now but this is my first time posting. I thought it was about time that I introduced myself and become more active on the forum since I have learned so much...
