Helluva job right there!
I'm not the least bit ashamed to tell you that mine isn't even in the ballpark with yours. Mine is square, uses climashield instead of down, has a drawstring to close up...
I do all my measuring on the foot end of a king size bed and all my sewing on my drafting table that already has a printer and a monitor on it. That's all the space I needed for my 11.5' hammock,...
I've slept in a hammock "greater than 400 ft" below the surface of the ocean, but I will not be taking part in any of that nonsense those fellas got going on there.....woof.
Good-bye blogs on HF.
I can probably help with shuttling if you don't want to leave a vehicle anywhere other than OSP. Who knows, I might even be able to help with a little fishing input as well.
Another trip I had...
Birds have a better design engineer.
Using a corner connector instead of a Tee on the bottom will add front-to-back stability.

I simply refrain from washing my hands. I also don't run to the doctor every time my farts smell weird, don't know the name of a single antibiotic and refrain from medication, period. I couldn't tell...
I'll take it.
I'll take the Ohm.
Is this some kind of demented initiation ritual???
Oops, just noticed it.......Let me round everything up and see what I'm willing to part with.
Sew three sets of tie outs along the door from the bottom up as you deem necessary and hold the door closed by running a trekking pole or stick through them.
Archer11, if you have trouble starting like mentioned above, start your hem where you'll have about 1/4-1/2" of material beyond the backside of the presser foot then start sewing in reverse.
I don't pin it at all. I hold it with my hands and run about 18" at a time then readjust.
I take that back; I fold in the 4 corners (rectangle tarp) and sew the triangle then sandwich with grosgrain. The 4 bottom edge and 2 ridgeline tieouts I do not reinforce.
I don't reinforce my tieouts. I simply sandwich the silnylon between the ends of the grosgrain.
I make fixed loops the same as in the video above for my structural ridge lines.
For making whoopie slings 7/64ths and this post....
Depends, but if it's for a pulled pork sammich it's definitely a Qpon.
I have 2 and may be willing to sell one of them.
Genetics...
I'm close enough to even know how to pronounce "Cheddar", lol
I hope they enjoyed their snickerdoodles.
Muaahhahahahahahaha!!!!!
Picture 1 is incorrect. Yes, the straps each have 100lbs on them, but you're discussing weight transferred to the tree, not the straps. There's 200lbs applied to the tree at a point directly in line...
That's a LOT of tongue weight to take into consideration. (in the above video)
I'll take it.
