I'm looking for a nice mattress for 3 season and one to combo with my ridgerest for colder temps.
A neoair would do as well. Let me know if you have one hiding in storage you're willing to part...

Picked up the set, free tshirt too :) Ordered on the weekend and got it Tuesday in Canada. Super fast shipping. But it was fedex so I got stung with duty, only $36 so it could have been worse.
Blasphemy! Asking for tents in a hammock forum! Well, I have a hammock, but my scouts don't and I don't feel like outfitting 12 of them with their own hammocks yet, in time, but not today. We have a...

Greylock 3 - 52" X 42" under quilt - 800 Activ-Dry down - Like new with included stuff sack. Purchased in January, 2015.
Included - Dutchware quilt hooks and hangers....
They just started making the 56" this year so I think it would be hard to get a used one this early. The 2014 version is a 52"
I think my earlier question for Dutch may have been missed but could we use the speed hooks as whoopie hooks instead? Or is there an issue with the hook end as well?
I find the siberian hitch holds well, I do a truckers hitch on the other end to tension it and it holds really well with a couple slippery half hitches. I then have two prusiks ( 6 wraps ) to tension...
LOL, I just finished splicing them onto my amsteel about an hour before you posted this. Murphy's law!
Anyway would you foresee any issues using these as whoopie hooks instead if I spliced onto...
Thanks all! As fortune would have it JRB had a 2014 clearance sale today, got a smokin deal on a greylock 3

What will the full length cost and will you be able to ship to Canada?
Thanks
Would you be willing to sell and ship to Canada?
Thanks.. UG has some ready to ship items as well at an increased price.. Do you know if JRB uses USPS to ship to Canada?
I'd like one in time for Mid-February and it seems a zeppelin uq or an Incubator may not make it in time..
Got it today, in Canada.. no duty charges! :)
Yep, one of the benefits of having a crafty wife.. I literally have thousands of beads to choose from :)

Made my first complete suspension set. Whoopie slings, continuous loops and I even sewed the loops on my tree straps.
Did you get the 100% goose down, or a mix with feathers?
Would the consensus then be that I could get away with an incubator 20 plus a pad for -15*F? I like the idea of a 'starter' UQ that will serve me most of the year.. I figure in the hotter summer...
Kind of a mundane question but is there a preference or suggested way to sew up tree straps for most strength.. Bar tacks, Box pattern? I have 1" Poly webbing.. was going to to do bar tacks based on...
Their site says its 3.9 oz per square yard
Only getting down to -17*F here tonight (-33 windchill)
What was the sale price? Right now I'm looking at $280 for a 7/8th 0*
Have you had a chance to test it out yet?
Thanks, I'm trying avoiding the UQ route until I really feel I 'need' it.. I probably will in the long run I just don't want to plonk down $300 for something until I've determined it's what I really...
Thanks that helps.. I have one coming in soon so it's good to know now before I get it set up in the rain. I really like the mitten hook idea.
Yeah I plan on setting up in my back yard to test out different things, just trying to figure out what's worth trying.. I will report my findings after i do
Good idea I will try the duct tape.. I have a bunch of space blankets too.. Do you put the space blanket on bottom side of the ccf?
I have a nice big wool blanket to bring with me and I'm curious if it would do me any good as an underpad? Wool doesn't compress that much, I figure if I stick it above a CCF it would also help with...
I'll be getting down to -16*f this weekend. I may need to resort to sleeping on the ground though as my hammock setup isn't quite ready.
